I mean,you want the guy that played for us, was a coach and assistant manager in our last successful period,then left to win everything as fergies assistant before going it alone and ultimately getting the england job,who then came back and had a great crack at getting us up and nearly getting there...to clear off out of 'our' club. Pretty sure at this point it's more his club then ours!

Maybe I'm in a minority, but I wouldn't mind Mike Ashley being involved with Derby.
I can see beyond the newcastle stuff, as to be totally honest I regard their fans amongst the most self centred, deluded, sense of self importance and grandeur. File alongside spurs and villa fans.
Ashley isn't God, but he certainly isn't Satan either.
His financial clout, experience of admin businesses and all their pitfalls will be a bonus.
We need to look at our situation we are currently in. Not talk rubbish about how he won't invest when we are in the prem. We aren't in the lrem and probably won't be for a very very very long time.
This club needs a 10 year re set.

Mine is even worse as:
A) It was before there was any such thing as replica shirts so my Mum attached a Rams badge on a plain white shirt with poppers
B) My hair clashed with the Trophy football and the curtains
C) It was my 10th birthday and my cake only had a measly three candles.

We don't even have to go back that far. Let's not forget that Middlesbrough sold us Mikkel Beck, which is surely grounds for legal action. Derby paid £500,000 for Beck; I've put this through Gibson's patented 'pull a made up figure out of your  a**e' damages calculator, and the amount now due to us is.....
