Bradley Johnson is enjoying a lot of his free time in Derby atm. Do we think he could be tempted back?  If bielik goes out on loan, Johnson and hourihane with bird and Thompson as the main cms would be very decent at league one level. 

I think he is pretty reliable tbh. Seems one of the people on talksport with actual contacts. 

The CDM who used to play for Fulham? He was quality at one point, think he had an illness if I’m right in remembering?

He sure does - I just meant there hasn’t seemed to many whispering of where he’s going next so thought as he is here maybe he would be tempted back. Bird for CDM, with Johnson and hourihane ahead - even in the champ that wouldn’t be too shabby. 

I don’t suspect David clowes is going to be anything like the early days mel Morris in terms of being front and centre. I am going to guess that he will appoint a CEO who will be the face and mouth of this Derby County. As he made a point of in his statement, he would rather be an anonymous fan and he likes to do his business quietly. He will of course communicate as and when but I think in the next week he will make key appointments whom will then drive the operation. I’d be surprised if that’s not the case.

@alram, you’ve made it clear that you want us to sign young players, can’t you just let us have the likes of  Hourihane and a couple of others to complement these youths you’re proposing. He’s not past it at 31, has good pedigree, a good injury record, WON’T be on massive wages as this discussion is about the restrictions we will face and could be a key part of the jigsaw.
Dave Mackay, Paul McGrath, John Eustace, Matt Oakley, Eranio, Baiano are a handful of Derby based examples I can think of who were more “experienced” in their careers and contributed massively to the club. There are countless examples at other sides around the world, age doesn’t instantly equal a bad move for the club. Morris paid over the odds for the wrong players at the wrong time, signing a couple of experienced pros on affordable terms who can contribute to what the manager needs and wants is exactly what I want to see.

We want 20,000+ season ticket holders this season, and put £6 million into this club before the season begins.

Massive thank you from me to all of you lot on this forum. This club has impacted my mood, it's given me highs and lows over the last 18 months but you lot have always cheered me up.
I've thought about binning this forum off, I've thought about binning football off entirely. 
Two things changed my mind, taking my three year old daughter to a couple of games last season (she loved it and the thought of not being able to do that again was a killer), and this forum.
Perversely, it's all sparked the love of it all in me again and I cant wait to see where we go from here.
Thanks everyone. Me and my little one look forwards to attending games for years to come.
