Pity the twit sat in front of me at the Birmingham game who said "he's been poo for 8 years" wasn't there tonight. Then again, him and about 300 others in my block weren't there. Obviously thought they'd done their bit by turning up for one game.

Other clubs have been relegated because they don't have the fight and/or spirit to dare and do the impossible to survive.

This is what we're up against.

Sorry, probably a bit harsh. But I know too many fans who love a free ticket but won’t stump up themselves.

Not an option when 8,000 fans just disappeared last night in our time of need. They probably watched it on telly , but that doesn’t help DCFC. I think we have a lot of Commadore fans - Once , twice , three times a season.?. Mike Ashley will be looking and realise he is not going to sell 20,000 shirts to Rams fans.

They must have said on Sky two or three times during the game that Ashley has said he wants to buy the club NOW.

You would think any potential owner would want this all done and dusted to secure the long term futures of these young players.

No emotional distress from me btw. Gibson is a scumbag and I welcome the animosity.

Following Gibson threat (as you refer to it), the EFL is now actually going against their own rule which states that member clubs cannot take action against each other with regards to breaches of P&S regulations. Only the League can take such action, which they already have done. So what has Gibson got on the EFL that they are prepared to break their own rules?

Straight-line amortisation isn't a 'standard' - it's just what every other club used. Not the same thing.
There's nothing in the rules to force one method or another.

But it's not prescribed in the EFL rules, so using a different method isn't "cheating", the lie that Gibson and Couhig have peddled.

When the claim was made in January 2021 we were on the verge of a takeover by Sheikh Khaled, which then fell through. When Gibson originally pushed for our FFP punishment it was January 2020, again we were on the verge of a takeover by Henry Gabay, that also then fell through. Coincidence?

He could then also take up a case against a DCFC which actually has some money to award him in the case of a victory.
There's no time limit on his claim and nothing stopping him dropping the current one, then making another later once DCFC are stabilised and not at risk of going out of business.
A fair hearing with both sides being able to put together a comprehensive argument, rather than one side of the argument being compromised by administration.
Another inconvenient truth about the notion that all he wants is justice.

So why does Boro statement in January say that their claim alleges against the Directors of DcFC if as you say they can’t actually claim against them?

the whole statement frankly was an absolute disgrace and shows what a total piece of work Gibson is I’m afraid.

@BoroWill- the reason your owner is seen as the villain of the piece is because he is.  Not because of his views of Mel Morris and not because of his previous views and comments of our club's profligate spending - you will find many/most Rams fans (no doubt some late to the party) who agree with him on both counts - but because he is and has been for many months deliberately making it impossible for us to move to new ownership without us slugging him a considerable amount of money (anything between £7m and £45m) for a perceived competitive gain, when even your own fans believe that your failure to gain a play off place that season was largely down to Pulis and a sporting/player/results failure on your part.
We have been roundly punished by the EFL's processes for our financial splurge; we have spent the vast majority of the last 3/4 seasons under a transfer embargo; we've had 9 players leave this transfer window alone, most against their will; we're down to the bare bones from a squad perspective; we're likely to get relegated despite the fantastic effort that the players are putting in to avoid that happening.  Is not all that and more, punishment enough?
Yet, for your owner, this is personal.  He doesn't care that the club, our club, is suffering, that good people are out of work, that a fan base is suffering. The proof of that is that he is continuing with a claim that is at its very, very best, purely speculative.  If he relaxed his claim we could, probably, get new owners in place, sort out creditors, be relegated and under EFL control for two more years but at least move on.  He won't let us because he doesn't like Mel Morris and wants to see Mel Morris suffer. And that is it pure and simple, and that is why he is, whatever your protestations to the contrary, the villain of this piece.  It's time for him to show some leadership, move on and concentrate on his own club.

From memory when Newcastle had them relegations under Ashley, didn't he spend silly money to get them straight back up promoted the following season?
Think of the thousands of jobs he's saved over the years buying failed businesses. Granted, he made cuts however he made the businesses profitable.
I'm 100% behind the bloke buying the club. He might not invest behind the scenes but I think we'll still have some of the best facilities around in the next 5 years. Clear the debts, stability. Yes please.

The EFL (and the 2 cretin chairmen) are still saying that HMRC and the stadium deal are the biggest obstacles.  The admins are saying the major obstacle is the 'Boro/Wycombe issue. The fact that one of the bidders is apparently confirming what the admins are saying must give it some credibility.

That second paragraph I linked to was the EFL saying that the results of the sanction hearing (and them not appealing it) meant that the default set of fixtures (with us in the championship) was the one they were going to use.  It draws a line under that whole issue.

I share your concerns which is why we need somone like Margaret Becket or another MP to ensure the Arbitration process is fair. We do not want to put our trust in the EFL to ensure the process is fair,  neither can we put our faith in Gibson's good nature if the ruling goes against us.

I think the understanding is that if Football creditors are not paid in full you will be expelled from the EFL.

if other creditors are not paid 25% we may get up to a 15 point penalty. or the other creditors could vote against if they feel they are being messed about by Efl/ Boro/Wycombe and we go into liquidation .

so Gibson saying he’s not trying to liquidate us is just crocodile tears.

You can't be designated creditor status based on the probability of something happening in the future. It's ludicrous and only the EFL could preside over such a shambolic state of affairs.

He is right to a certain extent, he and the Gibbon aren’t responsible for the debt…..but what he conveniently fails to add is that his and the Gibbons spurious claims are preventing the sale of the club….

Adrian Durham likes to find an edge, to stir up his client base of phone-in loonies driving their taxis and white vans round the outskirts of London. Here though he is probably just being a Peterborough fan who is scared witless that his team will be overtaken by a 21 point deducted team before the end of February. If I am not too busy around 5 this evening I think I will stop taking fares and ring him up and tell him what a twit he really is.

Missing some rather important things there! We don’t make the decisions the EFL do -he didn’t  mention that we broke no rules either. Also why would the administrators get back in touch with Wycombe if they consider their claims to be nuts
Maybe Peterborough should sue the EFL for Wycombe being allowed to be promoted rather than them so that the EFL can say go and sue Wycombe!

You need to take 19k season ticket money off that, already paid for and spent by the club mate. Your point is a good one though. Fill the stadium every game we can muddle through till the end of the season in admin. Which hopefully won't be the case anyway (admin wise)
