Ha sorry about that! I forget that people are new to the ecosystem and probably not aware of what you can and can't do.
Really would be nice to see user account switching on iPads when they advertise them for the family, just can't see them doing it, would rather try and push you to have a device per person for obvious reasons.
When you do have your own account/device you see how flawless it all is.

I get your frustration. iPads should certainly have the ability for account switching. We have 3 family iPads, theyre not personal device, I can’t wven remember who’s account is logged in. We tried having a family account once, but now a bunch of our calendars are attached to that account and it’s teally hard to therefore delete that account altogether, even though we’ve given up on the idea of a family account now (and Apple, to be fair, have made it easier to share things among families). But the iPad Pro is going to lead to even more people sharing an iPad. You’re not going to have one iPad Pro per person in a family of 5.
And because of all these accounts and devices, I’m never really sure where my photos are. They keeping doing major updates to the photos app on the MacBook. But I don’t dare even look in it now. God knows what’s in there.
I try to avoid taking photos at all now, weirdly enough, and just get my wife to take them all.
I appreciate what they’re doing with moments and things. That’s a great idea, and the little videos actually do work really well. But I’ve got out of the having of taking photos now, for fear of where they’ll end up, or of having thousands of photos of the same thing that I’m never bothered to delete the crap ones of.
I should try to get back into the habit.
I keep thinking, if I could just use this ecosystem properly, it could be wonderful, but I haven’t quite cracked it to my satisfaction.
Its still 100 times better than android or Microsoft though.

If you want to share music from your Apple ID then yes set up family sharing, it will share just your app purchases, music and if you have a monthly music subscription.
This bit I don’t like, when you have family sharing setup and say child 1 wants to buy a game it gets charged to your account.
There is an option to approve all purchases before they are made though.
To me it’s simple as I’ve seen it evolve I guess, but as with anything once you get your head around it, does get kinda simple.

Are you trying to use multiple devices with your family all under one Apple ID?
If so that’s your problem right there, no wonder you can’t find anything, it’s not designed for that, you need one account per person.
Also iPads and iPhones do not support user account switching, MacBooks you can.
It’s all pretty simple if you use them as intended, and the hard drive limit is just that, if you have a ton of pics you need to buy devices with large storage.

First time round I thought it was a bit weak, but oddly I watched it again because my nephew was round and he expressed an interest as his Granddad was really there. It works if you view it as a kind of "everymans" view of a moment in time, life and history. The ship sinking scenes were incredible honest and graphic, there was a raw in the moment honesty that I appreciated on a different level than daring do and noble sacrifice ( things I enjoy watching usually) ... A worthy take on an amazing story. ( can't forgive them the 1970's railway carriage though  )

my wife, who as a passenger, thinks all cars are fitted with additional brake actuators on the passenger seat cushion. ( they only work if both sides are squeezed together and coincide with a sharp intake of breath. )

Clicked on a link that said “You won’t believe what Dog the Bounty Hunters Wife Looks like now”!(I was bored).
I ended clicking through dozens of pictures of fat people I didn’t know who’ve gone thin but no picture of what his wife actually looks like...what a con!

Unspoken "sharing" of a milli second of life with your fellow human beings .. I was sitting in a queue of traffic a couple of summers back .. Failed traffic lights or something .. Watching the world go by as we crept forward inch by inch. Then walking on the pavement a pretty woman strolling along with a smile and suitably summer clothes. ....Just nice to see, in a none pervy but defo  masculine appreciation of the fairer sex sort of way .. Then looking in my mirror to see the bloke behind me had seen the same .. And eyes met with a grin of brotherly acknowledgment .. A kind of "I thought the same mate"

If we don't it is inevitable we will become extinct. I think for the sake of the benefit of the future humans who could spread through the universe, there is a moral imperative to colonize other worlds.

After a lifetime of frustration, I do love that we seem to be living in the future (at last). I carry around instant access to the entirety of human knowledge in my pocket, cars can drive themselves, rockets can land, I hold a screen over text in another language and it automatically translates (and I could buy headphones that would automatically translate spoken language into English for me). We're seriously talking about colonies on the Moon and Mars, and we'll soon have flying cars - finally.

People the disabled toilets in hospitals with no (apparent)disability.
Mrs Conehead is taking issue with anyone in this hospital who is making Joel wait while they dart in the disabled toilet.
A sleep deprived, stressed Mrs Cone is not pretty and it is cheering us up.
Joel doesn't care,we think it's funny but she is cheering us up with some great rants.

Didn't want to p*ss all over the happy thread so I'll put this here:

    £70k for that is bullshit.
The whole point of the Mini was that it was a relatively economical "car of the people".
Typifies where the 60's went wrong. Create a cultural icon, ruin it, then sell back 'the original', sans spirit at a vastly inflated price.

The number of parking spaces set aside for the disabled.  Yes, of course there has to be some, and I know that quite often it doesn't matter because there's plenty of other spaces, but I'm sick of driving around half empty car parks looking for a space.
The Tesco in Ilson seems to have about 100 spaces for blue badge holders and another 100 parent and child spaces.
FFS! It's a feckin'  supermarket not bleedin' Lourdes.

    They weren't amused.
