jono got a reaction from Derby4Me in Rate the last film you saw partie deux
Bohemian Rapsody .. Brilliant
only downside was a very quiet cinema. I really wanted to start singing and clapping when it reached the live aid concert.

My little girl has requested the overstairs cupboard in her bedroom is removed and replaced by a princess castle style cabin bed. All to be made by daddy, by her birthday on Friday.
Current situation...

That game was on everyone's iPads at school (yes, our school gave us iPads). Everyone was addicted to it, it was brilliant. I remember scoring 9 goals in one game with Yaya Sanogo.

Thing is I discovered something ... after about 4 seasons you start getting worse. The controls don’t respond as well, speed differentials between players disappear and when you switch player to the nearest one .. they run away from the ball .. not clever when you’re defending 1 v 1 .. intended short passes become shots on goal.... BUT .. ha ha ... delete the game and reinstall and as long as you have done it via the game centre thingummy then your data is still there in the cloud. Re install the game and you’re back winning 6-0 with your hard won and developed squad. happy days
Juventus just got stuffed 9-0 ... would have been 10 but for a dodgy offside decision .. the refs in this league are dire ?
i cant beat 9 goals from one player but Richarlison got 6
i’m just sad that there isn’t a Forest team

I don't online game as I suspect I would become addicted. Only thing I am doing at the moment when I have a quiet few minutes is Dream League soccer on my ipad
I never spend any money on in game purchases but can happily report that Derby County ( last years Elite division winners and double cup winners ) have just thrashed Manchester City 4 - 0
Christiano Ronaldo opened the scoring for the Rams, but MOTM was Will Hughes. ???
Other victims of my exceptional squad (of just 19 players,) include Real Madrid, Barcelona and of course England and the South American Allstars.

jono got a reaction from McRainy in Random stuff that cheers me up thread
My wife often says she wants a bout of food poisoning, great for rapid dieting ? She once said she’d love to go to prison. Miserable food that you wouldn’t like, plus a gym and hey presto weight loss. I have suggested that these are rather extreme solutions.

My lady is celebrating her 40th birthday today and this morning I surprised her with a cruise package to the Caribbean in March along with a charm bracelet with her kids birthstones.
She had told me that none of her previous boyfriends had ever really taken her anywhere or took her birthday seriously so to say she was happy is a vast understatement.??

Great story SK ... you can change your spots. You still love your alma mater, mines the ones we beat the other night. I couldn’t believe Gordon Hill went to Derby when I was a teenager. ... saw Franny Lee at Manchester airport once in the late 80’s stocky (actually I mean we’ll upholstered ) overcoat, suit like any business man of the day. Never said a word but he saw me seeing him, got a great nod and a smile. Cracking player

Fantastic stuff loweman2. As an ‘outsider’ my memory bank of The Rams began when Derby signed Franny. I’ve often mentioned (sorry to bore but it’s ‘my’ special story why I’m black and white and not blue mooning) Franny made this nine year old cry rivers leaving my beloved Man City for a new chapter under Dave Mackay. So from that day I became a proud Ram and despite my family doubting, I never returned (They are my number 2). Anyhows...... I may have missed it but did you ever get hold of Mr Lee for this series? Be fantastic if you did/could!!
I met Tommy Booth at a party, someone I watched regularly from the terraces, he does corporate stuff at The Etihad, strange for me that the pre Lee era I’m all Maine Rd memories. Now I have many memories from BBG and PP when I had a season ticket. ?
