This isn’t click bait, you knew what to expect when you opened this thread. Naturally there will be interest by some in how he gets on, signings, results, etc. As there was last season with Gary Rowett at Stoke. 
His departure topics will rumble on for a few days over in the main board, but once it settles down if you post Chelsea are losing, or Frank’s done this and that in the Derby County Forum, this is where your topic/post will be merged into so those that have zero interest can move on.
His first game is away to Bohemians on Wednesday night, 7.45pm kick off. Doubt you’ll be able to miss it if you’re on social media.
Might be interesting for us to see which of their youngsters are included in pre season and those which look unlikely to be amongst the chosen ones. Would still love Tomori to come back, I don’t think that’s totally unrealistic either.

@2tups do you want me to buy us 2 tickets for the Aston Villa game?, I was planning for Gordon Guthrie Stand again, nice view and ideal for the flag etc.

I arrived at The Black Bull Inn, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire for the Derby County v Ipswich match at about 7:30pm.
Instantly asked the barman if he could put the Derby game on, his reply being, "I've only just started, I don't know how to work the telly"......my reply... "try finding the remote and press 403, then press the red button"... he found it, did it, and up popped the red screen stating the screen would come on at 7:40. So I buy the beer and text @Ramadonna9 that the game is on in the pub.
10 minutes feels like a lifetime as random pub punters stare quizically at the telly. 5 minutes later a bloke from the darts team wanders to the barman and asks "Can you put the Leeds game on?".....I'm sat on my bar stool, 70's retro Umbro Derby shirt on, and I instantly show the weed, and say "Hey, c'mon I've already asked for the Derby game"......where he replies....."they've got two boxes"......which initially goes straight over my head and the new barman, who'd done a great job already, before the weed pops behind the bar, helps himself to all the remotes and wanders off to the two telly' smear the dart boards as I stare at the two screens near the bar, where the Rams game has now come on, thinking the worst, but hey ho, he get's the Leeds game on, near him and the Rams game stays on, and I thank the Lord for the pub, having two boxes for future mid week games, when the local Leeds, Aston Villa & Hull City fans pop in to catch their teams, might just pop in nice and early or hide the remotes!

Absolutely brilliant. The best post I've ever read on here. I know in those days, European travel was far more adventurous than today but that's an amazing story and so vividly described. I know Croatia and Dubrovnik fairly well and will be visiting Mostar next year. l've read a lot about the 90s civil war and was in Croatia during a ceasefire in 95 but didn't know that about the pitch in Mostar. Sad and disturbing times for sure across the whole Balkans. 
Love that area of the world and especially enjoyed the time we had Igor and Ace at Derby. Also hope to be in Split too next summer and will be wearing a Rams top to see if the locals recognise it.
Did you travel alone? Must have been some train / bus journey. Wasn't it still communist back then? I'm sure borders must have been tricky. Sounds like pin badges could solve any diplomatic concern though!
btw - I bought the away programme for my dad a few years back for a bday or Xmas. A proper 8 page Stasi style list of results and players names!

I think Crouch for Grant would be great...Crouch would be a better version of Martin and bring Vydra in to the game...

Sam Gallagher currently looking good on loan at Blackburn. Maybe go in with a cheeky bid to get him permanent from Southampton 

More I think about it, the more I think we could see J. Barton arrive in January. He played at QPR when McClaren was coaching and iirc, said good things about him.
