was it welcomed as a 'fantastic appointment' - I don't recall it was. Not any 'seasoned manager' Paul Warne specifically thats the point
Many of us were actually happy that we were getting a provened manager with three league 1 promotions under his belt,it made complete practical.if not emotional sense.
Personally I'd of preferred Mac 3 but warne was the sensible pragmatic choice for the owner.Dont forget it wasn't just about fixing the squad,it was about repairing the club, the academy and yes,the coffee machine and Paul had proven he could bring a club together at Rotherham,so it was really a no brainer for clowes.
It's just a massive shame that,up to now,it's not quite working out and the boss has got to sit back and decide what to do next...stick or a very expensive twist.
I think warnes still got some time to sort this out.

Let’s ask a different question. Let’s assume we stick with Warne and we finish 10th after a season of boring, mindless football. Will you renew your season ticket?
Always...
Well,unless we appointed rowett again.
We all have our limits.

Eh? Did it? 'A fantastic appointment' was it perceived that way I don't seem to remember too much dancing in the streets. I do remember quite a lot of people were disappointed Rosenior left
You have a selective memory.
Many of didn't want rosenior and welcomed a seasoned manager.
Just not necessarily the one we got

More fool them.
I thought he was a mediocre manager at best whose wages helped to drain the club's finances even further at a time we could ill afford to do so.
Plus I feel he was always instrumental in the removal of cocu and undermined him as the manager in his own desire for management.
And he will always be the man who was in charge when we were relegated to league 1.
A massive mistake by Birmingham that won't them take long to regret I fear.

Why have you turned a subject that is very serious into dig at Warne
Because he has a one track narrative.

You beauty Sibley!!!
Benefits from Collins the 🐴 not scoring again....a bizarre but useful side benefit.
-
Collins is a bloody donkey isn't he.
Runs around a lot but can't hit a barn door.
We would have won half of the games we drew if he knew where the blinking onion bag was.
Honestly,he does my fruit in.

Could easily be three up,great goal by Sibley....

I can no longer visualise the ground without the 2 corners filled in.
Just visit stoke city's ground....it's basically ours without the spaces filled

You seem to have missed the obvious (admittedly rubbish) joke. I'd say try harder but I can see you're doing your best.
Don't quit your day job.

Warne gets sacked.
You seemed to have missed the context of the conversation.
Do try harder.

I hope it's in Warne's contract that if he loses to a team in a lower league than Derby that he has to leave immediately.
Nott's County 6 Derby 0
What's your forfeit if we win?

Going to be a good game I suspect, notts county are flying at the moment and I'll be surprised if mcgoldrick doesn't play (and score!)

Will Clowes patience soon run out?
