Or putting a positive spin, We have the oldest signings because we have no young loanees to bring down the average wage. On the subject of loanees, all the loanees that have been sent out up to now, have been released by their clubs because they have no chance of getting into their first teams this season. There will be a number of players who will be borderline first team squad players, but will just miss out because of new incoming players, these are the players we should be targeting to take on loan.

The budget may have set at the start of the transfer window, based on what we feel can afford and also recent fees and wages paid out. But what happens if the goalposts have been moved, all of a sudden, fees and wages for players which cost X last year are now costing X plus 40%?
I think we've all personally experienced this in real life, especially in the last couple of years.
So we have to make a decision, either pay more to get what we want or stick to our budget and lower our sights.

Don't forget them not paying the tax either, they're guilty of multiple offences and are not being punished appropriately.

Why would you click on a topic titled 'Women's World Cup' then?
With so many topics to choose from, you chose this one just to let everyone know that you're not interested in it. 🤨

My heart sunk, for a split second, when she took a swing at the shot, the situation was begging for her to calmly side foot a curler into the far corner. No harm done though and nice to have something to cheer, after last night.

I felt that there was quite an improvement in Dobbin over the season, believing that he was on the brink of adding goals to his contribution towards the end of the season. A number of times he would cut in from the left and try and curl one inside the far post with a very deliberate shot, they never came off, but also they were never that far off target either.

If we'd put away any one of 4 early chances against Wigan, things could have been so different. In the first 15 minutes we broke them down 4 times giving Collins, Bradley and Fozzy great opportunities and a blistering shot from NML well saved.
I think that Warne is keeping his cards close to his chest, he doesn't want other clubs and players' agents thinking that he has money to burn.

I can only judge from the highlights, but NML could have easily been involved in 4 goals on Saturday, he brought out 2 good saves from their keeper from shots on his 'wrong' foot, he slashed wildly on his 'best' foot and he set up Bird for the miss of the season. When he's in the groove, his pace running at defenders, scares the life out of them.

The other semi is between Spain and Sweden.😁
So Japan will be impossible to beat, because they won't be there.

I didn't see any other chances we had where we missed an open goal from 4 yards out.
Probably didn't include them in the highlights clips. My bad.
