Like vs Birmingham? We might get a point, I'm hoping that will be enough. So Rotherham to lose on Tuesday.

What do we protest against ?
I don't disagree Mel has made a right horlicks of things in his time at Derby but what do we protest about ? his lack of spending ? no because if anything that's one of the issues, it's not mels fault the EFL p&s rules aren't fit for purpose and hes just not allowed to spend what maybe I the past other owners have to achieve success.
I guess we could protest his ownership and demand he moves on,but isn't he trying to do that? it's not his fault no one can seemingly afford to cough up the going rate, the last thing we need is him selling to someone for 50p like lionel did because no one else would buy us.
So I share your frustration, Mel has made a lot of mistakes and has to accept responsibility for where we are, I'm just not sure what we would protest against because as far as I can see he is making every effort to move on but no one seems able or willing to take over.

Okay, posts that are critical of Mel Morris' tenure as owner are not taken down.
Posts which contain personal insults of Mel Morris are.
The same applies to other previous or future owners, players, other posters.
How difficult is it to grasp the difference? Quite difficult for some people judging by the number of posts we have taken down in the last twenty four hours.
If in any doubt please re-read the terms and conditions that you agreed to when you joined the message board. If you don't agree with them, you are welcome to find somewhere else to post your personal insults. I hear Twitter aren't too fussy!

Hopefully the social media blackout will minimise the chances of a Derby Twatterer posting something Twatterish

Looks like some posters are willing to give Wednesday a point for drawing against us but don’t want to give ourselves any ?

We've spent so long losing that everyone seems to have forgotten that we do actually receive a point or 3 for avoiding defeat.

Well...if we lose on Saturday, they beat Forest, draw with us the following week they go above on goal difference. I think.

Why is that incorrect?
They're on 39 points. We're on 43. If they fail to beat us, we finish on either 44 or 46 points (providing we lose against Swansea).
They beat Forest and they're on 42. Lose against us, they're on 42. Draw with us and they're on 43. That's less than both 44 and 46.

Yes that’s the worrying thing as we would go down on goal difference..
We happier after that result tonight though

Lol. He came back to get fit and was let go back on loan by Rooney. He's played loads for the Wendies and scored double figures for them. Edit: bits of this ain't true.

Rotherham look organised. Brentford not getting out of first gear

I wouldn’t necessarily say we are now better off. We had the easiest game on paper over the weekend, at home against another struggler and failed to capitalise at all. It was our big chance to move clear and we didn’t take it. The reverse happens next weekend when it looks like we clearly have the toughest game, with the other two likely to close the gap. Fingers crossed Blackburn and Florist (and Brentford tomorrow) help us get out of jail....

Despite our form being dreadful, survival still looks a distinct possibility. If Rotherham get more than 6 points from their 4 matches they deserve to stay up.
If we could steal a win at Swansea it would relegate Wednesday regardless of what they do and as per my first point if Rotherham stay up they will totally deserve it.
Cooper had said that they will be resting a couple of players so just need our lot to put 1 big effort in.

Guaranteeing to the public that we won't go down because the players are too good to do so isn't taking the pressure off... as I've said a few times the stoke post match interview just gave us a small insight into the mentality that crept into management and player which has led us here. My suspicion is that as soon as we went on a run of form that dragged us 8 points above the drop, Rooney and co. thought job done for the season and so did the players- he was talking about automatic promotion next season ffs.

It’s criminal that we’re not safe already. Survival has been gift wrapped with a bow on it, problem is the manager is like a 1 year old and can’t ducking open it

Boro looked good tonight (albeit against 10 man Rotherham). I think it’s a tough one for Wednesday.
