In a nice fantasy world. Ashley buys the club, buys the Stadium off Mel/MSD, pays off all creditor's. Takes the EFL to court and wins the case (gets the 9 points deducted back). Takes that idiot Gibson and the gobby yank at Wycombe to court and sues them for millions. We finish the season in a comfortable mid-table position.
    And then next season..................................................

Puts his business in the shop window, gets noticed through a football club. More advertising revenue through name of stadium, shirt sponsorship etc Plus he's just made £305m by selling a club where the fans hated him (all because they were'nt in the Champions league etc).
On the down side, this late bid will now hold up the sale of the club and might not give Wayne any chance of strengthening the squad.

And if that was their closing sentence on Christmas eve the fans would'nt be so frustrated/angry etc. But to say "imminently" then no other comments and 12 days later still nothing, is disgusting. You can look at it several ways with what their job spec is ? Make cuts=done, Sort out who needs paying=done, Find prospective buyers and do checks on them=done, Keep the shareholders updated=not sure.
Administration in business is slightly different to a proffesional  football club going into administration and this lot at our club need to get it right or lose out on other future clubs needing their so called expertise if they fall foul. What they are not doing is giving any feedback to Wayne Rooney (who must have a plan A & B waiting to be implemented. And yes the fans are important, they are part of the clubs business plan/ structure. Future shareholders, buyers of the product (tickets), merchandise etc But to go 12 days with not even atalk with the manager, local press and fans is out of order.  I don't want any replies on here stating they are busy, they can't spare any time (it takes minutes to out with an update statement, even if there is no update TELL US).

    Absolutly.
We don't expect details of negotiations or anything particully insightful, but saying it's immenant and then radio silence is counter productive.
Even if it's just a regular noise to some of the local journos to say "we're still working on things but it's going to take a bit longer, nothing concerning" just keeps the anxiety down as bit.

So maximising the return… selling the club.

If the admin engage with Fan's, more fans turn up to games and make Derby look more saleable.

If they don’t, no relationship is built, lack of interest/encouragement, lower attendances. Valuation impacted.

Like I say, getting the best deal for the creditors includes keeping a healthy line of comms with the biggest stakeholders.

I will repeat, I disagree with the demand letter for answers on all parts of our club, but fans asking is there any update, is a fair question and the administrators should be doing anything they can to keep fans on board.

The first role of administrators is to attempt business rescue, only if this fails do they move to liquidation process at which point they must secure maximum returns for creditors.  We are very much at the business rescue stage and hence customers (in this case fans) are pivotal to any success.  Engaging with the supporters groups is seen as a very important role to Quantuma (so i have been told).

You are  just taking a pedantic view here.
If you don’t think that an institution that is built upon fans paying to keep a club running isn’t answerable to its main income stream then I’d have to question your logic.

No fans, no income, no club.

The fans are the clubs customers, in fact its their whole customer base. And without the income from season tickets, match day tickets and hot dogs. They’d have nothing to rescue.

So, it’s not very often I would say this so plainly. You are wrong. They are answerable to the fan base as a whole, as we are their biggest stakeholders.
I do disagree with making a list of demands though, just a line asking for a quick update would suffice and waste less time and hysteria.

Completely agree when people ask questions it is quicker but then again I don’t think you would give 3 deadlines to put your work in to miss all deadlines. Think somebody higher up would be asking questions on what you are doing with your time. The admins have made a rod for there own back by giving deadlines and missing every single one and also what doesn’t help is we have been here before this time last year so it’s like deja vu and look how that ended!!

I personally think Colin KR would'nt be as effective starting and the same goes for Ebosele. Knight, Plange and Jozwiak kept their defence busy and bringing on two fresh and both different attacking players bamboozled the defence.  Lawrence had a quiet game and could have scored, the same goes for Ravel when he came on. They are very much the same in their positions on the pitch and I don't think you can play both at the same time for long periods in a match.

I read in the daily Mirror earlier this week that Reading are desperate to sell players in the transfer window to sort out their finances. If thats true and they sell 2 or 3 players, they could become a weaker team. Even better if they get their 6 points suspended activated.

Feeling smug, Plange scored, and the Stoke match I picked out for a draw. So thats our surprise win, lets hope the other teams  I picked out to win against come to fruition. Need to find another draw against another opponent in our remaining games. That would give us 47 points. If thats not enough, then  hope we climb above the current 2 teams above us and Reading balls up and have their other 6 points that are currently suspended activated.

It's too big a mess to sort out, the Administrator's will end up taking their fee and liquidising us.
