Good players in Warne's team but not good coaches and tactics with the club. WARNE OUT

Probably to go with his favoured formation, with 3 centrebacks, when will this coach learn.

Perhaps then Warne should have set up the team differently. Any good coach will change the way we play and adjust tactics to beat the team they are playing. And if during the game, if it's not working, make the right adjustments to overcome the other team. Bloody hell, we only played them 10 days ago, if he's done his homework on them we should'nt be losing to a team in the lower division.

Mr Warne, I hope you read this "Forum" because there is some good feedback from the Rams fans. Since you binned the 3 at the back the team has steadily improved. Today most players were above average in their performance and playing a strong team, they just blew them away. My one criticism is; in the 75th minute you brought Sonny Bradley on and reverted back to 3 centrebacks, during that last period of the match Barnsley had 2 good chances and could have scored. PLEASE STICK WITH A BACK FOUR!!!!!

I hated Warne's comments over the international break saying the players need to have a talk amongst themselves to find out why they're underperforming. Isn't that his job? He's trying shift the blame away from himself. I have a feeling he told Hourihane to go over to the fans yesterday as well. He's clearly blaming the players and not taking responsibility himself.

Warnes had success in this division playing the same way a couple of times.  Any manager with a brain will have sounded out this system and worked out how to counteract it after playing his side over 2 or 3 games.  If he hasn't the capability to adapt to their changes himself.  Checkmate

I hate seeing managers sacked. I just think stability is needed sometimes. I've always wanted Warne to do well and get us out of this league.
I'm really not too fussed about the style of football in this league. For me it's about getting out of it by any means necessary. Under Billy Davies the football was, in the main, dire. There were so many games where we'd win by a goal and you'd come out thinking "How on earth have we won that" but we won. Which is fundamentally all that really matters.
When you aren't winning games, the football gets called into question. Whilst it's out first defeat in 10. The form is poor and has been for the last 7-8 months. This squad should be beating teams like Cambridge, Shrewsbury, Cheltenham comfortably.
What worries me is Warne coming out yesterday saying there wasn't much in it? Yes I know their keeper made a few saves, the one from Nelson being a good one. But Wildsmith also made a fair few. Not to mention the one where their player cut in and pulled it wide when it looked easier to score and the one where there striker cut in and all he needed to do was pass it into the corner and for some reason he cut in again. But really there should be a lot in it. That squad we had yesterday is a bloody good squad at this level and they should be cutting teams open like that. Listening to Warne yesterday it honestly felt like he'd not watched the same game as I did. Because that was absolutely woeful. To a man they were pathetic.
We've won 11 games the last 30. 4 wins in the last 14 home games.
In the Championship that wouldn't really be good enough. In this league with this squad. That is borderline unforgivable.
Saw a tweet earlier which said this "Really wanted it to work for warne but think we are getting to a Clough ,Stevie Mac situation where someone comes in tweaks it a little and off we go"
I can't help but agree with it. I think Warne is out of his depth here. This club is a big club with an expectation that we win every game in this league (obviously I know we won't) but the football we are putting on is not giving me any excitement, not making me think he can turn it around.
I'd see how he does up until the next international break in mid November and if we haven't won at least 3 out the next 4 games then I'd make a change.

Well when we are nowhere in site of being in the promotion race come the January transfer window. We will sell our prized young talent on the cheap, i.e. Cashin, Bird,  Sibley and Thompson. Then we will have the cash to off load Warne and his dross coaching staff. But we will be set back at least 2 or 3 seasons with no decent players and the incoming manager and his team will have to be the bees knees to get this club out of league one.

That is such a baffling interview
It's the sort of interview you might give after you've just had 20 shots on goal and somehow lost 1-0, not when you've just been deservedly beaten.
"We need to take our chances"
So do Shrewsbury! If both teams took all there chances yesterday, we still would've lost .

Not all League One managers are percentage hoof merchants.
    Nobody is asking for Pep.
But somebody who can actually get us playing some entertaining football with a resemblance of a plan would be nice.
Warne football is just rubbish on the eye. It may have worked for him at Rotherham in the same way Phil Brown had success at Hull or Aidy Boothroyd at Watford.
I don’t care if people view me as entitled. I just want my team to play entertaining football, win or lose.

He's had more than a year, being patient will see us being no where near the promotion race and all our talented youngsters are out of contract at the end of the season (will they hang around for another season in league one). On top of that most of the older experienced players are also out of contract at the end of the season. We can't afford to be patient with Warne, his style, tactics and play is so easy to work out by opposition coaches/managers, Warne is a one trick pony.

I had such high hopes for the bloke. Great record in this division, couldn't take Rotherham any further I assumed due to budgets. Let's see what he can do at a big club. And I think now we've all seen what he is capable of. Nothing.
The bloke hasn't grasped the size of the job at all. Did he really think hitting the ball wide as early as possible and smashing crosses into the box was going go down well with supporters? The good managers evolve their ideas over time. He is expecting really technical footballers to become athletes who can run half a marathon and bulldoze the opposition on the break. No wonder tactically we are all over the place.
This squad is top 6 easily, any half decent manager could at least be competitive. We have the biggest wage budget in the league. And what this manager has produced is nothing short of something I'd expect on a Sunday morning on Alvaston Park. Pathetic, amateur standard of football where crossing the ball gets clapped at like seals on our bench. Bottom half league one teams can easily figure out our game plan within 5 minutes. We've got all these quality midfielders and we still insist on avoiding them at all costs when we attack. It is painful to watch. Is this really the best this squad has to give?
I'm done with it. I was so excited to see what he could do with a summer and implement a plan to fire us up the league. Currently, we're firing into the midtable wasteland. It is embarrassing. He's got all these resources at his disposal and quite frankly, he's a rabbit in the headlights facing an inevitable doom.
Lovely man I'm sure. But a football manager who has a clear glass ceiling and has demonstrated he cannot take his work to the next level.

Day and night between where the club is at during the admin season and now. Admittedly it’s easy to back the lads when it’s ‘them versus us’. But Warne is a vampire that’s drained us of any joy or hope.

Regardless of what pivot tables each one of us have detailing how much each of our team is allegedly on what's the point trying to be made here - that the bigger the wage bill the better the squad is?
