Keane has always struck me searingly honest and thats what got him into trouble at man utd after the imfamous Manutd TV interview following a 4-0 defeat to middlesbro. The only trouble is the truth = his opinion, and he has a few anger management issues.
one player i did not like for obvious reasons but who i came to like as a consequence of his sing-a-long videos was Mr Savage

I‚Äôm amazed this is the first mention. The definition of bitterness for me. Denied as a 10 year old to travel away to Europe with my dad watching Deano, Oohmark and Shiltz. Then sold to the bamfords that caused us to miss out. I laugh every time Liverpool ‚Äėslip up‚Äô and they are the only English team I never support in Europe. Whole lot of them are arrogant self absorbed entitled whining¬†¬†bamfords.¬†

Been to a few, Burton for obvious reasons, vip tickets (lol) to see Blackpool play Scunthorpe (I think) at the completely empty millennium stadium for the rubbish leagues cup final, Malaga v Real Madrid. All good experiences but obviously not the same.
plymouth v Exeter is fun, you haven’t heard moaning of the like if the Janners are losing to the Grecians. Always kicks off too. Not much else for them to do!
Most notable was a trip to Elland road, Leeds v Liverpool. I felt proper dirty and made sure I was protected with a layer of Derby under my coat. It was a bit of a date.......I must have really liked her! Although I did nearly kill her at half time with a contaminated chocolate coated raisin. She hadn’t told me about her peanut allergy. And Stella scored the winner, so I didn’t. Bamford.

Went to Exeter v Plymouth decades ago when Speedway was cancelled.
Totally weird, didn't know the players and left at half time to find a pub.
Also went to Ice Hockey and American Football in states. They don't really do away fans so atmosphere is strange, although the noise level in the Hockey game was deafening. also saw a unruly side to Yanks fans, cushions and coins on the ice when disagreeing with something.

Did not see it as such a big thing at the time but, as I get older and it ever happening seems to become more a remote possibility, I have become even more bitter about it.

I am all for inclusion and diversity, but positive discrimination is still discrimination. It is , as previously mentioned, papering over the cracks in the recruiting procedures.
The BAME population ( in question ) is roughly 5%. Managers or coaches  do not have to have played at the highest level to be good at their job, so allowing for some natural progression from playing, a figure of approx 10% has been mooted
You could argue though that BAME players are hugely over represented, due to the opportunities afforded by genetical advantages in youth.

I'd love to know how to valuate the stadium in Derby? What precedent are the using for the valuation? Valuing a house is one thing as there are plenty for sale in an area and you can do a comparison in size, location, condition, property features etc. But there is no other 33k stadium in the Derby area, so there is no market valuation for that type of property. At the end of the day, a property is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
Lets do some numbers. The new Tottenham stadium has cost £1billion. It has a seating capacity of 62,062 making the cost per seat £16,112. According to Zoopla, the average house price in Tottenham is £409,140 and the average house price in Derby is £207,923. This makes property 1.9677 times more expensive in Tottenham. Based on that ratio, the cost per seat in Derby should be £8,188. Derby has a capacity of 33,597, so the valuation of the stadium is £275,100,301 (£275 million).

I don't particularly care about balance. Whoever is best for the position should get the job. I hate the language used surrounding this scheme though. The section you quoted to "better represent the players" is absolutely farcical. So the FA are seemingly under the impression that people need to have the same colour skin as the people they're teaching in order for lessons to sink in?
The people at the FA who implemented this are either racists or cowards, probably both. What the FA are saying essentially is that they as an organisation are so inherently racist that there's no way their recruitment process could ever be fair towards black coaches, so they have to set a definite number of BAME coaching roles to scupper the white identitarians who presumably make up their selection committees.

Deano and Goddard for me too. To this day I think selling Goddard cost us an unfathomable amount and have never understood the rational.
As an aside, I had the pleasure of meeting Phil, having a drink or too and even playing with him (twice...I think) and he was always a genuinely nice guy.

Saunders was surprisingly good in the air for his height and Goddards guile made him a perfect foil for Saunders pace. One of our worst pieces of business was selling Goddard imho.

As a new member and long time voyeur who belatedly decided to get with it, I thought I'd pose the question. Partly in a way of introducing myself. Phil Gee and Bobby D were our forwards when my old man started to take me to the BBG. For a couple of seasons or more they were on fire. I can't be sure how many they got between them but it seemed like close to 40 a season. One of my early memories was Gee scoring at Brammall Lane to secure a win and put us on the verge of promotion.
Maybe though the most talented combo was Saunders and Goddard. A mate said only the other day the goal at old Trafford was one of our best.
I enjoyed the Kitson, Gabbiadini and Super Tommy Johnson attack. Felt a bit like it never quite lived up to what it could of been though.
In more recent times (for me anyway) Biaino and Wanchope, and last season's 3 up top when Wilson, Marriott and Lawrence were rocking was going some.
So who is it then, which forward line for you? A two or a three? Or a one man Chrissy Martin in his pomp?
And hello by the way, from what I've seen you lot are a decent bunch...
