And since you posted such on here @REDCAR unfortunately the majority of comments are also quite sadly doing exactly the same. It’s the sheep mentality. All knackered slagging David Clowes off already, after slagging Paul Warne off to absolute bits, then someone mentions a new sponsor and instead of discussing the new sponsor and it’s potential benefits, well that must have something to do with that Pearce bloke, so time for them all to slag him off to bits. It’s all predictably sad and destructible.
For what it’s worth, sounds like a good deal, the more good deals the club gets, the more the good, good people benefit from such.

I believe that we paid to sign him, but he returned on a free so we still did pretty well.

He wasn’t a free but Christian Dailly went to Blackburn for like £5-£6m didn’t he? It’s not often we can say that we had another clubs pants down!

I was thinking more about the vast sums we’ll have received so that we can buy lots of players in January… but can see how that might not have been clear!!  (Edited accordingly )
