What a piece of garbage.  He came to matches..he saw what this club meant to the City and the fans...he saw the passion and the raw energy of what is a fantastically loyal fan base.. I wish him nothing but bad luck in every business venture he undertakes.  A total classless waste of oxygen.

Nothing. It’s just click bait to tempt folk to pay for his Patreon account on a no news day.

Mike Ashley will only buy the club if it’s in his best interests to do so and generate a profit from it.
Even if that means a points deduction.
It’s easy to get fixated on the short-term. As fans we want no points deduction, new contracts for staff and players, new signings and a promotion challenge.
We may get all that with Chris Kirchner. Then what? We’re back in the Championship, battling with likes of Bristol City in lower midtable, and looking for fresh investment as Kirchner (or Appleby or another) has realized we’re not profitable.
It might be horrible with Mike Ashley in the short-term. But if he is in charge, he’ll be striving for long-term profitability and that comes with a clearer plan to get to the PL.

Forget CK folks. The man's clearly all mouth.
The extended exclusivity period is over, so now it's back to Quantuma to react with their customary flair and decisiveness and bring in a back up plan, two of whom seem to be putting their hand up.
Surely this can't take more than 6-8 weeks now.

Second class post I presume. And as they are both still interested why write to them to ask “ Are you still interested “? They should be meeting with both today to get it f**** sorted.

The only slight positive with all of this potential Quantuma incompetence (rather than any owner of Derby) is that I believe it makes it very difficult for the EFL to take further  swift punitive action against Derby.
I say this because for then to take action such as attempting to chuck us out of the league would bring huge political repercussions for them and probably swiftly speed up the demise of that organisation and football governing bodies in general.
I think that the EFL will ‘huff and puff’ a bit but give us the chance to get a deal over the line.
Also, FWIW, I’m not buying any of this about CK sending funds etc that have been caught up somewhere with the ‘laundering police’ checking them. I mean, the blokes allegedly running a international logistics business- I can’t think of anyone less likely to have been put in this situation.
In my view, he’s got cold feet. Hence, why he’s gone quiet. If that wasn’t the case, I’m sure he’d have no issue with talking a bit more with the fans about what’s going on.

You do realise that come 5pm absolutely nothing will happen. No money comes through. No statement from anyone. No new bidder. The fans will be left in the dark tearing their hair out. Rumours will continue to appear and we will be none the wiser

People not going to games if Ashley takes over. Nonsense, if he comes in, gets a few signings, we go on a good promotion run the ground will be packed

Kirchner may or may not pull it out of the fire. I doubt it, but like everyone else on here, I've nothing substantive to go on.
If he doesn't, and Mike Ashley steps in, with or without a 15 point deduction, I welcome him with open arms. Anyone virtue signalling about not going to games if he's in charge needs to give their head a wobble. He's a businessman in retail, possibly the most savage sector there is, and he's amazingly good at it. He's not trying to win popularity contests in his professional life.
How do you think he stacks up in the morality stakes of owners in the 92? Mid-table? Certainly more reputable than they've got down the road, or at his old club, or Man City, or (depending on your point of view) at Stoke. The list goes on.
You'd rather we went under? Well you can foxtrot oscar.

How come Chelsea's consortium which cost 5 billion pounds, went though rather seamlessly. That must have had all sorts of anti-money laundering checks. You didn't hear of any doubts on that.

Ed Dawes is a shocking "journalist", it's mind numbingly poor. Why on earth would you make such a strong statement this morning and then wind it back in less than a day? Bad for all parties involved.
