They will have another interview with Rick Parry just to block out the news of the March.

Jortat reacted to jono in Birmingham City (H) Matchday Thread
I’m not going to make it tomorrow, long story, mother in law died, then we got Covid ( very mild, negative now ) Mrs Jono needed to escape so right now on the Isle of Skye but Sky Go plumbed in. Big breakfast followed by walk on beach then the big game .. this is huge as are the next 2 or 3 .. if we can roll on and the results go with us we could end February out of the bottom 3. What that would say about Rooney and this team and the spirit of DCFC is immeasurable

I do think that the EFL want (need?) these claims to go away as much as we do.
But they have taken legal advice which probably tells them it is outside their remit to make that call so they have been pushing us to go to arbitration. We appear to have somewhat reluctantly agreed to this at last.
I now hope that right-minded independent legal experts will agree with us and the growing media calls for common sense to prevail.
Although I am anxious about it, I do think it's the only way we will move on from the current situation.

My take - Boro and Wycombe are vultures determined to extract their pound of flesh from the rotting corpse of Derby County, and the EFL are happy to let them do it. There can be no PB until the parasites go away, and the parasites won't go away until they have the blood of Derby County dripping down their faces.
My glass is now officially half empty.

Doesn’t seem to stop the EFL leaking things out through Nixon.

It's this.
Once things are clarified, bidders can say yup here's my offer or nope I withdraw my bid.
There's nothing actually stopping a bidder buying us out of administration right now if creditors agree, however, not knowing what the EFL would do to us or how much extra they might have to pay boro or wycombe are understandable reasons for cold feet.

Jortat reacted to Day in The Football Creditor rule is explicit, simple, and solves all of Derby's issues
Agreed.
Despite public pressure on the EFL to decide by fans, media and MP's they are still yet to make the call.
Despite public pressure on Gibson and Couhig to withdraw their claims from some of their own fans, media and MP's they have still yet to withdraw.
Looks highly unlikely either will change now, the opportunity to move in response has passed and they are all holding firm.
This is the logical step now to have a ruling in court which the EFL would not be able to ignore and allow us to move forward.

Left Bonn (Germany) at 11:30 last night. Train from there to Frankfurt, flight from Frankfurt to Stansted, three trains later and just about to get through the door.
If you could all keep the noise down tomorrow, that would be much appreciated, as I'll be pretty tired. Cheers.

EFL have bottled the decision and are letting someone else make it, if it goes against us they will say it wasn't our fault DCDC we're liquidated by an independent panel decision.
This week could be the beginning of the end or a new beginning.
After reading Toby Perkins article I'm fearing the worst but hoping for the best.
Had a ST since 1986 can't get tomorrow with fixture being changed hope the TV coverage will show what it means to all but I don't think the EFL give a ****..
This team can do the impossible should we survive. Enjoy the day I will be watching or listening whenever I can.

I purchased my tickets for my son and myself for the Hull and PBoro home matches last week and cant wait for the games. I took a punt on the deadline being put back or a buyer taking us over but I thought the club could do with the cash up front either way.
I haven't been up to Pride Park since for an age due to work commitments (I work most weekends ) and covid so I'm really looking forward to seeing a live game again. I have taken some time off work and have booked the Chaddesden Travel lodge for both games , so I can have a good drink before and after the match and roar the Rams onto 2 wins .I couldn't get the time off for the Millwall game so I didn't do the the 3 for 2 offer unfortunately.
I live at Haverhill in Suffolk which is around 130 miles away from Pride Park so my match opportunities are limited but I make the most of them when I can and will follow the Rams in what ever division we have been in or will be in.
The main thing is we have a team to follow. Our day will come again ,of that I'm sure .COYR

Tbf to Birmingham an attendance like that suggests they've sold out their allocated tickets as well.
So thanks blues - the extra revenue is appreciated as is any support you guys can give.
