I know that one came out of nowhere! It makes sense due to Warnes good relationship with Klopp though
 
Yes JCH is serious. Been in contact with Pboro the past 2 weeks. Money wise I don’t know how we’ll be able to afford it unless we use the Knight/ Bielik money which I suspect wasn’t originally meant to be used on transfers but due to injuries and lack of depth etc, it’s now being used. I think he’d take us from a top 6 team to a top 2. 

So the ones that I know of are JCH and Bobby Clark. Will Vaulkes I’ve personally not heard anything about. No new bid for Cashin yet but expect one tomorrow. Tomorrows either going to be super busy because Brighton have made a bid too good to turn down or pretty quiet with 1 potentially 2 coming in

I don't think any of our current forwards offer that at the moment. I'm not so much concerned with what other teams did/didn't do, just on what our current sides needs.

JCH would score absolute bags of goals in this team. If this happens I'll start to get much more excited about our prospects this season...

He scored 26 goals in this division last season. Exactly what we need to get out of this league.

Agreed. It's not as if we haven't improved (or tried to) all areas of the team, for the sake of a star signing. This does not look like a Bielik-style wreckless punt, because we have already brought in 9 players and there is a better balance in the squad.
To be top 2 we need to increase our chances of scoring regularly and this move increases that probability.
If it relies on the Cashin money, we need to have a replacement and if they are similarly tenacious but more mobile, that could improve us there too. 
However, if we lose out on JCH ( surely a championship club would be in), it will be interesting to see who is next on the list.

At the risk of upsetting the Warne-fans, our gameplan seems pretty straight-forward, perhaps even a bit one dimensional, at the moment:
- Get it down the flanks (or forward quickly), get the ball in the box a lot and trust in the forwards to do the rest.
If that's the plan, I can't see why anyone wouldn't want JCH in that role for us. More capable than anyone in our team at scoring goals, and arguably more capable than any other forward in this league.

Let's say the figure is £1m. Half of that could be promotion based with the rest being made up of appearance and goal add-ons. Would that be too bad?

All down to finances of the deal and fixing that before the deadline, but it sounds as if there’s a good chance it could happen. Peterborough seem desperate to sell

Well, as you well know @David, I don't always call it correctly when it comes to managers 😉 
But really my reasons for wanting that option were:
1) Sacking a manager this early in the season, when the window isn't even shut, and he's been able to do all the recruitment, isn't a smart thing for a football club to do
2) I'm not convinced he's a very good manager and I'm not convinced he's going to get it right with us but ultimately I don't think that means he shouldn't be given the time to prove that, right or wrong
