Morris gambled and just didn’t run a football club very well apart from the academy investment. He certainly wasn’t a crook like the amigos although the football club has been on the brink of oblivion under his tenure 

Why does anyone buy a football club? Might be vanity project or to get name involved in other sports. Or to eventually make the big money from premier league. Many are not very profitable in the lower leagues. I guess Derby County has potential because of a large fan base though. Ashley and minus 15 would be disastrous in my opinion. Well, mainly minus 15....league 2 would be a real prospect. Can't see that. Would rather not have Ashley if there is a choice and doesn't look like he will be buying DCFC anyway.

Just have - depends how far we go back. Since moving to Pride Park 1997- . a quick glance says they have averaged over 25k 6 times since then, Derby around 20 times.  The stats also say they were regularly getting less than 15k in the 70s.

Average of 25k last ten seasons - Derby 6, Forest 2. If we exclude covid year, Derby 7 times Forest 2. What a weird post. Derby have had points deductions and in relegation zone, Derby’s attendance has been great this season- take out the 16k at home (I couldn’t buy a ticket for those games as no ticket office) as they were anomalies. If Forest had been in administration, points deductions, relegation etc their average would be a lot lower. Covid has also been a factor affecting different clubs differently. Derby and Forest have had similar attendances but it’s clear that Derby have had an edge over previous seasons until very recently.

So now any chance of liquidation looks extremely slim, you’re moving on to WW3 and let me guess, Derby getting nuked by Putin to scupper our plans of starting the new season? Gotcha.

Maybe we would have named the stands by then- West/East etc bit boring- Get Clough stand, Mackay stand, Jim Smith stand etc 

Ex premier league teams - their squad is not prem level. Doesn’t mean anything whether they’re ex prem or called Sunderland or Wycombe- only advantage is bigger home crowds.

Jesus H Clough! For god’ sake give over man! He's the ONLY person willing to pay an acceptable amount of someone else’s debt to acquire a club with nothing! Did you actually want the club to go under? You need to realise, there was not a long queue of rich people interested in spending money on DCFC and the sooner you negative bunch get over it, the better. Aim your bitterness where it should be aimed!

That away attendance table means nothing but the home attendance numbers are impressive. Haven’t DCFc got the top 3 attended matches this season? Can’t remember when the ticket office opened but remember I couldn’t get tickets to some games as they were off sale before the day weirdly due to the ticket office closure. Think the average would be closer 25k if ticket office had been open as there were the very low figures for a few matches after lockdown or when administration hit.

But no one knows his personal situation. Has he got some personal loan payable which is relevant to this situation? Has he no more money in the bank and is his wealth only wealth tied up in assets he owns- any properties and obviously the value of PP. Maybe he can’t sell PP for £1. He may have lost his money through DCFC and other businesses. 

Who would like that idea? Just to spite Morris? Insane. Hate groundshare option - watch crowds plummet. Look at Coventry fiasco.
