Anyone that saw/heard the clip knows what he's done. He shouldn't be near a football pitch in this country ever again. Regardless of legal verdict, why would you actually want such a vile individual associated with our club? Absolutely warped way of thinking

He wasn't found guilty of anything so is innocent and therefore why not?
I expect an announcement by United come Monday after the final has been happened.

Ward has looked fine at wingback to me, and his crossing has led to 1/4 of our goals so far this season, so I'm not sure what they were saying is accurate, to be fair?

He won the Golden Boot and then sold for a profit, takes a fairly pessimistic lens to now view that signing as a success!

As long as you remember the heavy tinge of negative bias in these comments, thanks to the fact fans rarely want to speak positively about departing players. It's like a confirmation bias of ''we didn't need him anyway'' and then finding ways to justify that sentiment.
I also tend to have a look at general opinion online ,and regarding Ward, they also said how hard-working he was, great attitude etc. It wasn't exclusively negative. Forsyth hadn't played fullback before signing with us and that turned out okay...
I've not been impressed with the new signings yet, but I would try and argue that they made sense on paper (as individual signings, not whether we should have got a striker instead etc.)

David Clowes is & will always be a hero at this club. He was also a reluctant hero & it'll be the threat of threads like this that'll be the reason why.
Decisions can obviously be questioned - its the personalisation & need to find a blame figure that I'm struggling with, particularly aimed at someone who has gone far above & beyond any Derby fan to help the club. For example, I strongly disagreed with the decision not to offer Rosenior the full time manager position last September & the decision to hire Warne but I would never 'blame' Clowes for how its turned out. He acted in what he thought were the best interests of the club at the time & that's all you can ask. As a total novice to owning a football club, its unreasonable to expect everything to go perfectly.

Willing to give Bradley a bit of a pass so far, not being helped by whats in front of him.
Too easy for strikers to receive the ball into feet with nothing in midfield to screen or for the striker to drop off into space.

In fairness, he might not be expected to be a leader. I don't think he looks any more useless than our other centre halves- I saw more defensive nous from him in pre-season than I did Nelson, for example. This is perhaps where my leniency is coming from as I do still have faith Sonny could be a good player for us.
Bashing our defence I agree with; singling Bradley out for criticism I don't.

Because whenever I saw them, Luton didn't have the other 2 centre halves bombing into the attacking half of the pitch... Their centre halves were also more mobile so he didn't get pulled out of position as much. Formation and system are two separate things, more players than Bradley look genuinely confused as to how they're supposed to perform their roles- the fact he's played that formation in a very different way before is probably what's causing the most confusion for him, ironically.

To be fair, how are you supposed to marshal a defence if you don't understand your own role in it? None of them look comfortable with the system so why would they be vocal about others when they're struggling to do their own jobs?

I think the problem is he's basically just been dumped right in at the deep end in an already non-performing team.
His legs may well have gone, but we've done everything possible to highlight that by exposing him to a situation where it's utterly impossible for him to build up any understanding with the rest of his defenders, as they're all off doing their own thing and he has literally no midfield protection in front of him.
His return for Luton post-injury saw him play the full 90 in their final 5 league games before the play-offs. 5 games, 3 victories, just 3 goals conceded. I refuse to believe he looked anything like as bad as he has done here in those games.
I imagine coming straight back in after injury to play that many consecutive minutes also wasn't really ideal but it was made easier by familiarity. He still hasn't had any sort of structured return since recovering.
That's why he needed gradually introducing into the system here, preferably one which suits him, but we've handled it so badly that he looks overwhelmed to the point where he's not even capable of doing the things which should come naturally to him because of the overload of things he's being asked to do which don't.
I think pretty much ANY player would be looking a bit s*** in these circumstances, "legs gone" or not

He's so low on confidence. You can see he's constantly caught in a battle between his instincts and how he's been told to play, resulting in him somehow doing neither. If he was told to just win the ball and get it upfield we'll see a better player (couldn't be much worse!)
