BriggRam got a reaction from 1967Ram in Bournemouth (H) Matchday Thread
Just watched the raw reaction video made by a bournmouth fan after yesterday's game.......they are proper shocked by the result, as am I to be honest, but a couple of there fans praised our support, 1 saying it's the best home support he has witnessed all season.... also watched another video by a guy, not a Derby supporter, but praising the performance, also condemning our predicament and how we have been treated compared to the breakaway 6, good to see and hear fans of other clubs actually being fair and honest.....I'm still buzzing from the display yesterday and the result, I honestly think the confidence that result will give the players will drive the players on.....Fulham away......love it

BriggRam reacted to Mucker1884 in Bournemouth (H) Matchday Thread
not caught up on comments on here... dashed home, dashed out, just got back and logged in...
I'm normally the first out, dashing from my aisle seat as soon as the whistle goes.
Today, every single player deserved that ovation, and I was more than happy to stay back, and applaud them off... and I got the impression quite a few more hung back for a little longer than normal. And rightly so!
At half time, I mentioned that I was enjoying the players' attitude. By full time, I was immensely impressed, and exceedingly proud, of each and every one of them. We all know that collectively at least, they lack the quality to match today's achievement week in, week out, but today, they busted a gut, and got exactly what they deserved... a bloody fantastic 3 points!
If truth be told, as that last rendition of "We'll fight to the end" rang out... long after the final whistle... it brought a lump to my throat, and a tear to my eye.
For quite a while now, I've been kidding myself that in the grand scheme of things, DCFC come a fair way down the list of priorities in my life these days. Today has taught me that they do still matter. I do still care. And that I really will be Derby 'til I die.
Today was a good day... nay, a great day. One down, 28 to go!

BriggRam reacted to Day in Liam Thompson
Already posted in the match thread, but the lad deserves the recognition of having a DCFC Fans Forum topic in his name, and for positive reasons.
Like a new signing for us whilst under embargo. Frustrating he's had to wait so long to be eligible to play.
When the dark clouds pass, if we can make it through without losing our young talent, the future is clearly bright.

When watching Quests EFL show I normally stitched channels once the Championship has been covered, tonight I'm still tuned in watching next seasons potential opponents

BriggRam reacted to Crewton in Middlesbrough lodge £45m compensation claim
I'm not really sure why DCFC never pursued QPR for compensation after the full scale of their FFPO breach was revealed. Both they and Leicester breached FFP rules that season. Leicester beat us home and away and QPR away and obviously at Wembley.
Then there's the case of our dear friends Notts Forest : placed under embargo in December 2015 for breaching FFP financial loss limits in season 2014/15, Forest spent big in the summer of 2014, including circa £6M on Britt Assombalonga who scored the equaliser in their 2-1 victory at PP in January 2015. Derby, if you recall, missed out on promotion by 1 point (we had a superior goal difference to the 3 teams tied above us with 1 point more).
Let's not even think about Villa and their record-breaking wage bill.
If Middlesbrough and Wycombe fans feel hard done-by, don't come to us looking for sympathy or understanding.

BriggRam reacted to angieram in Derby finally accept 21 point deduction.
Good approach, speaking directly to the fans with the eminently sensible @Owen87ITK asking the questions we would ask.
Reassuring comments about the ground passing back into the same ownership as the club will be; sounds disappointed that negotiations with the EFL took as long as they did but they are assured this is the clean slate we all wanted; HMRC still a work in progress. No wonder the timescale is slipping into January. Personally don't think this will make too much difference as we will have very little scope for wheeling and dealing in the transfer market and Rooney sounds like he has that in hand just waiting on the green light.
Middlesbrough and Wycombe - UGH!!!! What a totally unnecessary distraction we can well do without. Hang your heads in shame, Steve Gibson and that other bloke whose name I can't even be bothered to recall.
