BriggRam reacted to Carl Sagan in Petition to the Sports Minister
Someone called Adam Boddington (very possibly on here) has created a petition asking for the Sports Minister to look at the situation between Derby, Middlesbrough and Wycombe. The EFL is mentioned in the petition title:
    https://www.change.org/p/sports-minister-for-england-sports-minister-to-look-into-the-ongoing-situation-between-the-efl-Derby-county
Well done Adam for starting something off.

You all know what........Our fight on the pitch has awoken real football fans....in fact on the pitch, Derby are the most exciting thing happening in the Championship, we are being lapped up by sky sports with the spirit we are showing and the miracle we could perform by staying up......and the clowns at the EFL are extinguishing it, they should be enhancing it, playing on it, promoting it even.......they are totally corrupt and the list of board members proves it

My thoughts exactly.......Next week during his pre match interview live on sky....if he was to say
"this club has been getting punished with embargos and fines non stop for two years, we have accepted our punishment and are trying to move on, but due to unforeseen hurdles being put in front of us time and time again by the EFL, and ludicrous actions by other EFL members this club could sieze to exist "
If he said something like that live on Sky TV surely the real football world, not the moronic twits revelling in our plight would take notice

There is nothing on SSN or the BBC sports news or any other news outlet about our situation, no one is highlighting or ivestigating it, ........only when we are gone will they make news of it, and they will poor compassion.........Arsenal trying to pull out of there game against Spurs is more important than the death of Derby County

This is just how I feel. All these people are rich, have great salaries, live in fancy houses and are playing politics with our club, our passion, our wellbeing.
Whatever happens,  they carry on in their safe little bubbles without a thought of the consequences to the average fan who works overtime to pay for tickets, uses all their annual leave to get to games, depends on the friendship and support of their club 'family'.
It's more important for them to be 'right', regardless of the outcome.
It is fueled by privilege and testosterone and it absolutely stinks.

The media don't care about clubs outside of the Premier League, especially ones that have been out of it as long as we have. Unfortunately we would only be a tiny blemish on their news feed if the worst was to happen.

I did not believe in a witch hunt against us by the EFL at first.
However, this seems very suspicious that we now have a good chance to avoid relegation, we may have been very close to appointing preferred bidders and we were only just into January. Being so early in January with new owners we could get reinforcements and with Rooney’s contacts (players like Diallo in the Championship) all of a sudden us surviving became very real. Then all of a sudden the EFL slap this demand on us. Plus other clubs are annoyed we are rejecting pitiful bids.
I now think the EFL have a real dislike of Derby and want us to suffer. Whilst I do not think they will see us liquidated I do think they will have us as close to death as possible before they ‘help us’.
