ramsbottom got a reaction from Jackal in How much do you think we have to spend on actual transfer fees?
With the anticipated increase in revenue you'd think they'll be around £2-3m in a pot for transfer fees, and the rest being divied up for loan fees & wages. Not exactly the bottomless pit some were hoping for/expecting. I'm thinking we'll be doing a lot of business with frees & loans.

I suspect Big Trav got found out, and now resides under Pitch 12 at Moor Farm...

Watched a fair bit of the MK Dons v Crawley game the other day and was really impressed with Klaidi Lolos. Greek international, can play up front on in midfield and has very tidy feet. TransferMarkt has him valued at £125k. Worth a gamble??

I was implying the club found out, as in they didn't like him leaking info, so took care of him. Not that he was full of poo... BT has been the only ITK-er who I pay any attention to.
This is why I despise post season, it's not so much the endless bulls*** that gets thrown around on socials, by divs trying to get clicks & likes, it's the amount of gullible a******** who believe it, then start kicking off when it doesn't happen...

1988 Derby 4-2 Wimbledon: Deano’s debut. Nuff said
1996 Derby - Man Utd 1: Laursen’s stunning free kick. And Igor putting on a clinic, man-marking the reigning FWA player of the season Eric Cantona out of the game. Kung Fu Eric didn’t get a sniff.
2010 Derby 3-0 Preston: The height of that purple patch with Kuqi upfront and Alberto Bueano running riot. Really thought Nigel had finally unlocked the potential that day
2022 Derby 1-0 Oxford: Not a great game, but I’m sure that I wasn’t the only one in the crowd that shed a tear or two from the relief & joy at the fact we still had a football club to support

Derby 3 Everton 2. Goddard chipped Southall with Bobby Robson watching on.
Why he then didn't get a call up after that wonder-goal, I'll never know

The £7-8m quoted is purely from the new TV deal passed down from the Prem. There will be an increase in revenue from sponsorship, and season ticket sales to add on, probably another £2-3m. A drop in the ocean compared to the relegated teams and those like Dog Fingerer FC who have to prop up their massive losses through their mard arse chairman...

ramsbottom got a reaction from McMuffin in Stick or Twist?
If I were David Clowes I certainly wouldn’t give a rats arse about my manager ‘enjoying’ a 80-90% approval rating on a fans forum (no disrespect admin 😬).
I would however see how he gets on next season before thinking about a new long term deal…

I'd agree with letting Collins go cus League 1 looks to be his natural level at this stage in his career. But I'd certainly give Smith another 12 months as he gave some fresh impetuous down the stretch, played some good stuff and it's important to have some senior pros in and around the squad.
Plus I don't think the jump to the Championship is that big. You look at the table now and with some astute signings I'd fancy our chances against anyone from Brizzle downwards, especially at home.

The fact that when he brought in Cocu he spoke of reading a study that said he (Cocu) had promoted more youngsters to the first team than any other manager in the top 5 European divisions. The study? A sidebar on Cocu’s placement in FourFourTwo’s top 50 managers of the year…
I know hindsight is 20/20, but he talked b******* from day one
Love this. The guy owns the friggin building, can do whatever takes his fancy, but still shows the humility to think he might be disturbing the work force if he was to pop in…
Class act 👌🏻
