Written like that it does not mean one bidder. It could be one or several.

I'm sure we can all see the stupidity in this, in that Ashley could have spent the same amount in December and possibly kept us up......but the Boro issues torpedoed that. we won't forget Gibson.

This is talking about last time. Can't see this attempt being any different:
"While Ashley and Morgan both have experience of running football clubs, Appleby has specific interest in running Derby. He served as chairman of the club between the years of 2008 and 2015, and has recently spoken about that experience.
“Even though Derby is a relatively tiny place in England, we routinely had over 30,000 fans coming to our games,” he told The Capital Club podcast at the start of the month. “That was a great experience, I had recruited a tremendous ownership group, just some of the most salt of the earth people you can imagine, several US team owners as part of that.
“This group of people came from everywhere, from Lebanon to Hong Kong, to Guatemala to Calgary to Beverly Hills and yet we were all kind of the same in the sense of we’re all good guys and good people and we all were adults and understood how things worked.”
The businessman also outlined the challenges that came with running a team in the English football leagues. It means he will know some of the things that could face him should a takeover bid be successful.
“I mean, that said, I will tell you it’s a heck of a challenge to run an English football team because you’re quite a way away from it,” he added. “In our case we had very capable people running it that I had recruited along the way.
“The great news about owning a team there is that the fans really, really care and the downside of that is that the fans really, really care. So, when you win you're floating on air, when you lose, both from an ownership and a fan perspective, people want to jump off the highest building.
“All in all, it was a great experience, despite the massive lows and some of the massive highs. I went to half the home games over that period and I tried to live it as much as I could and we again had a lot of success, particularly at the end when we were competing to get into the Premier League.”

To sum up the 10 days I've been out of the loop
We may be bought by someone beginning with A. This may happen on Thursday or Friday. Or not
The EFL may or may not throw procedural rocks at us to save face or punish us.
We may or may not get deducted anything between 0 and 15 points.
     The puns are still terrible
@B4ev6isis still a beacon of positive light to us all.

I am getting out of here Mucker; the negativity of far too many is getting me down, indeed beginning to boil my piss. Q will make season tickets available with some assurance of fan protection I am certain of that.
    Up the Rams!

I’ve seen more than a few people mention now they aren’t going to buy a season ticket whilst the club is in administration.
Whilst I understand the frustration, nothing more right now hurts the club quite as much as withholding money that aids it’s survival.
Everyone who can afford to buy a ticket absolutely should, if allowed, your investment has never been more needed in over 130 years!

Not posted on since the good old days.  But for the first time today I am very worried about my derby county, I have followed them since I came to live here in 1974 and the only engment  I had was through the rams , myself and my late father and brother all derby through and through,  I'm the only one left now
And if this was taken away from me
It will finsh me.  So I pray ?
Please please save this great club

If the admins tale a loan, I believe it will be from the likely purchaser, and IF it is then it will make no difference in the overall scheme of things....was this not indicated in the Q statement yesterday?

It is the end game and everyone involved is focussed on the final outcome. I’ve said this a few times because it’s what I’ve been told by people on the periphery of the discussions, and also because it makes logical sense. We’re out of time so it’s now or never. And I don’t think we’re going to go bust but then that’s because I’m optimistic in nature

To be fair we haven’t seen the deal the Appleby group is offering or for that matter anyone else .
I think it’s above most peoples  pay grade to understand the complexity of what’s involved.
In the mean time Derby fans and the Club and staff and players are suffering.
We just need to be able to move on.

I had a terrible dream last night that we'd been in a worldwide pandemic, Russia was starting WWIII, fuel and energy prices had doubled, inflation and food prices had gone through the roof, NHS waiting times had hit 13 hours, England suffered their heaviest home defat for over 90 years, train drivers were going on strike, human rights laws were going to be scrapped, the economy was heading for recession, social housing was in a right state, we had a lying deceitful narcissistic scumbag for Prime minister and worst of all, Derby County were at risk of going under.
I was glad to wake up I tell you!

Exactly. Blame quantuma if you like for indulging Ck for too long but he was the highest bidder, passed the Efl fit and proper test and showed proof of funds. They couldn’t just give someone else Pb status just because he makes a **** of himself on twitter.

5 months were wasted in admin from September to February dealing with Efl charges and Boro claims. all the fault of Efl and Gibson.

so for Efl to blame q for how long it’s taking is just a bit rich I would say.
