Mendez out now. Hamstring.
What did Warne say exactly?

Sounds like this supposed chance has actually turned into a game we'd have been better off not playing at all

Shame about Forsyth. Hopefully nothing major

There's certainly players from our promotion rivals i'd go for if we go up and they dont.
Peterborough:
LB - Burrows
CM - Kyprianou
CM - Collins
RW - Poku
Bolton:
CB - Santos
CM - Morley
CM - Sheehan
LB - Ogbeta (on loan from Swansea)
Barnsley:
CM - Kane
CM - Connell
Maghoma (on loan from Brentford) impressed on Saturday too

What a moment that goal was, could feel the importance of it surging through the stadium

If Bird is out for more than a couple of games, automatics will be very difficult

Yes and Nyambe on crutches..

If we beat Bolton, it's in ours

Bolton have three tricky away games now. I'd take a draw at Barnsley

Can we recall Brown this week?

Out of contract in the summer too. Sad to think that we *may* have seen the last of Collins in a Derby shirt.
On the flip side, imagine if he came back for the last few games, scoring the goal(s) to seal our promotion 😍
He'll be staying I reckon

Famous last words but have a feeling we're going to turn them over, maybe just too much wishful thinking

You need to listen to the interview with SP. He said there were 3 targets, 2 in the PL and 1 in the Championship. The players in the PL started getting games. A deal was done for the 1 in the Championship and all the paperwork was sorted. Then his club changed their mind at something like 9:30.
I heard it. We had all of January. Not saying deals in Jan are easy, they clearly aren't. But we got CBT done with plenty of time to go.

It is a worry if Collins is out for any length of time.
But having four forwards (Collins, John Jules, Waghorn, Washington) out at one time as well as multiple other players in the squad just says we have been very unfortunate.
Let’s see if we can pick up a free agent. Let’s see where Washington is with his recovery. Let’s see if we can recall Brown. Let’s see if we can go with a fluid front three of NML, CBT and Barkhuizen.
All we can do is regroup and make the best out of a bad situation.
We knew TJJ had a poor injury record. We knew Waghorn and Washington were/are injured and are older players with histories of muscle injuries. We loaned Browne out...
It isn't unfortunate. It's either poor planning or lack of implementation. I'm all for praising our great club when deserved but this was a big error from the club. Can't change it now but don't pretend it wasn't a mistake (not you, the club themselves).

Got what they deserved?
You make it sound like Warne and the team didn’t want a striker and were happy with the outcome?
There’s a difference between what we wanted and what we got and clearly Warne had to suck it up and accept the situation for what it was.
As I said, we had all of January

For obvious tactical reasons, wouldn't surprise me if Thompson comes in for CBT for this one
