I think he did well enough yesterday, as he has done most of the games he’s been involved in the last few months. One heart in mouth moment as the ball deflected off his heel just wide of our goal, I thought I’d jinxed him by asking pre match when his last gaff was.
My only criticism is he either gets unnecessarily involved in wrestling during attacking set pieces (or is genuinely being fouled but not getting the decision 🤔).
Does make for pretty epic pics though!
They’re having an ‘ink-off’

People whining on about how Taylor at Lincoln had a good game against Cashin. So what? I saw Ray Crawford for Ipswich absolutely take McFarland apart in a 4-0 defeat at Portman Road. Roy looked like someone pulled off the street to make up the numbers. Every player has bad games, even the so called superstars of the Premier League.
All part of the master plan. Brighton sniffing like a bloodhound, clearly had someone watching him at Lincoln.

About 8 years ago, I think.
Just searched his stats. He had a more prolific career with us rather than Arsenal. Surprised at that! And he’s associated far more with them

At an ex-players evening Charlie said that he told Revie to shove the shirt up his f.....g ar5e as he was walking off the pitch.
How recent was that? How is he now? That team wow!

Unfortunately you don't really get a choice, pretty much dictated by the area of the country you are in.
Last weekend we had a 3 carriage train into Doncaster with one working toilet for a capacity of around 80%, which included a stag party.
From Doncaster into Derby we had to stand by the doors the entire way.
Stood there questioning my life decisions, paying more for that train than it would have cost me to jump on a RyanAir flight to Spain.
Totally agree. Not even biased as a driver with Northern it’s embarrassing at times. One loo is indeed pathetic. Sometimes the public don’t help when you see what they try to flush. Trains are cancelled now if the loo is Out of Order.
Airline subsidies etc etc….. but this is the wrong thread for all that.
Hope those travelling in fantastic numbers get there safely. And three points of course -
We’re having this. Champions for me.
Time to believe.

Depends who’s running them 😊

Your thread title @Curtains ‘a must’….. but that guarantees nothing. I’ve no doubt they’re working their knacks off trying to improve squad but the restraints I don’t think any of us know how tight it must be to release the funds…. And then specific players. Too many underestimate the work that goes on for me.

At this level, he's ok but no more than that. Obviously he's scored a few of late and to be fair, is doing a decent job but let's not get over-excited - he misses plenty and can't win headers for toffee due to awful positioning and anticipation.
He prob will get 20 this season but he's playing plenty of games in a team challenging for the title (albeit with room for improvement) - I think I'd get 10 in this side with the chances we're creating.
I'm not slating the lad - just being realistic. He's a bog standard forward who misses quite a few and only gets the odd unexpected goal (e.g. the finish about is excellent).
‘I’m not slating the lad’……..‘He’s a bog standard forward’…….
