Fantastic stuff loweman2. As an ‘outsider’ my memory bank of The Rams began when Derby signed Franny. I’ve often mentioned (sorry to bore but it’s ‘my’ special story why I’m black and white and not blue mooning) Franny made this nine year old cry rivers leaving my beloved Man City for a new chapter under Dave Mackay. So from that day I became a proud Ram and despite my family doubting, I never returned (They are my number 2). Anyhows...... I may have missed it but did you ever get hold of Mr Lee for this series? Be fantastic if you did/could!!
I met Tommy Booth at a party, someone I watched regularly from the terraces, he does corporate stuff at The Etihad, strange for me that the pre Lee era I’m all Maine Rd memories. Now I have many memories from BBG and PP when I had a season ticket. ?

Cider (after five ales) . Still celebrating Saturday. Return to work Wed, I’m sat in Marple and everyone who enjoys a tipple of real ale or cider do try The Samuel Oldknow (look it up) . Wonderful, maybe subconsciously it’s a warm up for Fri considering how superb Bristol is for cider/perry

The lads from Derby on Gogglebox. Spotted a Dave Mackay Champions mug nicely positioned on the table. Good effort

From the crafty crow, walk down over Maid Marion Way and call in the Ned Ludd, they normally have some decent beers on.
Ned Ludd as I type Reveldevil. Room With A Brew closed till 4, not what was listed! Appreciate the tip as it’s on the route. Beer fest on at the mo too so plenty to go at. Can’t believe how big Nottingham is.

Tomorrow sees me making a third trip to Nottingham to enjoy their finest ale houses. Thought about wearing the colours but I’ll take a back seat to any football conversation overheard......maybe.
Lining up.....
Old Trip To Jerusalem
Crafty Crow
Room With A Brew
Hand and Heart
Canalhouse
Let you how good the ales are in due course

Stafford Beer Fest. later today. I'll have my Rams hoodie and willing to reminisce with any fool who'll listen to my anecdotes before the ale kicks in. No after the ale kicks in SSA!

Top two current breweries..... Elland and Leeds..... I know, it's incredible to think with names like that but try their ale, always stupendous..... unlike their namesake club

Benn v Collins 3!

Are they really that bonkers or desperate for cash?
I don't blame them if they've both admitted it's for the cash. Fair play! Collins says he wants to buy more land for his animals

Make sure you drop in to the Tap while you're round that way - a quite comprehensive selection there.
Exeter Arms is my particular favourite, though. Dancing Duck, if I recall, my favourite of theirs is Dark Drake. Good pint of stout, that.
I've just passed The Tap and am in Exeter now. I'm rather bladdered but the ale is good quality and I've had plenty. Waiting to get my chariot back to South Manchester and am definitely Bladdered. Denise in the Exeter, top gal !

The tickets for each 4 hour session were about £50, so it’s as much free beer as you can reasonably queue up for and drink in that time. I easily spent that in 4 hours at Indy Man Beer Con last year so it seems a decent deal
Sounds quality mate. I'm currently in Silk Mill and about to head to Exeter Arms, beers have been terrific today. You Derby boys and girls have got some terrific pubs.

Some exotic ales pictured for sure. I'm heading to the fine city of Derby shortly to partake in some wonderful cask ale being offered by some terrific ale houses. Not being from Derby I'll look forward to engaging you good folk in banter on many subjects..... Then again I may just get drunk.

According to Wikipedia, Rhodes is 6'1" so not that small
Really?!! Makes me one of Ken Dodds diddymen then. 6 1 I'd have bet my mortgage he was no where near that. Or does he just wear really big shorts?

10m for Jordan Rhodes, phew! I've always rated him but 10m. A few years ago I fancied Rhodes and Le Fondre as a front two. Neither much more than about 5 and a half foot but it'd have been interesting. Goddard and Saunders were terrific together and neither very tall so it could have worked

I think it's a fantastic testament to our club, manager and squad that we've signed no one this window. Great boost for players and am more than happy watching likes of Villa spending till it hurts. YOU ARE MY DERBY . Ooooh check out the big letters I'm a happy bunny/ Ram tonight
