Rooney has given chances to Bird, Knight, Plange, Stretton, Watson, Ebosele, Buchanan, McDonald, Thompson, Hutchinson, Williams AND Sibley. All have taken their chances to a greater or lesser extent. If Sibley is good enough and can stop getting booked and sent off he will force his way into the side simple as that

I think Thompson is already as good as Knight and will be better in the long run

I like the sound of Kerchner. He’s young and going places. He would be doing this on his own. For me that’s much preferable to an Appleby led consortium
