To be fair McGoldrick was supposed to be injury prone but did that work out👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼This lad has got potential to be a gamechanger in this league and I for one cant wait to see a bit of pace in the side.

I remember Saka being the pin-up boy of that Arsenal team, although I hadn’t seen much of him up to that point. He was the one generating the buzz. I think he even played wing-back for the youth team sometimes, probably for his development.
I don’t like to think too much about it as it absolutely ruins me when I think back to how good he actually was for us at academy level. I thought there was absolutely no way that he doesn’t make it - he had everything. As a deep(er) lying central midfielder he would win the ball, carry it up the pitch and get involved in everything.

I really like Sibley, want him to do well. But genuinely, when was the last time he consistently looked like a real goal threat (I know he was forced out of position, sidelined etc etc), I'm just not sure he actually has it in him at the men's game?

Willie Carlin was only 5 foot 4inches, 1.63 meters for you youngsters 😂

More chance of seeing four Rotherham players in a Derby squad.

Rooney looks class, so comfortable on the ball and moving forwards.

Looked like a shot from Wash…
But we are giving Fleetwood too much space now - they’ve had two really good chances in an couple of mins ..
we need to concentrate

Waggy is so much more of a better player than Collins. I'd have waggy start ahead of him everyday of the week.

Exactly the team I would have picked.
Nothing can possibly go wrong.

The same thing everyone at the club from owner to manager to playing staff expected.
A season where we secure a play-off place with reasonable comfort and maybe even have a tilt at the top 2.
A squad built in the manager's image with clear signs of progression from last season and a plan in place as to how to achieve that goal, with something we could either build on if we did get promoted, or that would put us in good stead to go one further next season.
It's not the fans' fault we're f****** it up.

It's that age old chicken and egg situation though. Maybe the all-round positivity in the stands was down to the gutsy performances on the pitch, not the other way around? I guess we'll never know the true answer.
I'm all for backing the players, and as always, I'll be there tomorrow encouraging them to start well, with globules of positivity oozing from my every pore... but we all know the majority of us (Not all, obvs) slump back into our seats when things ain't going well on the pitch. It's very much a two way street.
I've already reverted to dashing out from my aisle-side seat on the final whistle. It wasn't that long ago that I felt compelled to stay behind and applaud each and every player off the pitch, before heading out (And rightly so, as it was most justified!).
We need that old "Three Musketeers" mantra back. And the sooner the better!

No issue with us starting fast. On Tuesday we won a corner inside 20 seconds. Then we went into reverse for the following 90 mins.

Yep I was really shocked at how many booed at half time. Full time not as bad but by then many had left! Cant imagine we've sold many since Tuesday. Thought of driving from Cambs again for that rubbish is not filling me with joy. Its the "perhaps today" hope that kills you!

If you add in the last 12 games of last season it's 5 wins, 3 draws and 7 defeats from our last 15 League games...

My personal opinion is not to criticise clowes.
Hes the reason we have a club. Hes running it sustainably so we dont have this threat again.
Sure the decisions hes made may not pay off but thats normal in life and business.

I find it strange that he lets the number 2 stand in the technical area from the start of the game, he then takes over in the second half (when we are losing), he’s the manager and he should be in there from the first minute, against Oxford he has his hands in his pockets
The pressure is on him, he comes across (recent results included) that he thinks he’s better than he is
The Spain trip, players standing up and discussing their life’s etc, buying players mugs etc, he’s possibly too close to the players and now the heat is on and a few rollickings need giving out the players will be thinking I thought you were my friend
He needs to try and get back to some good old Cloughie methods and let them know who’s gaffer (it will be difficult)

Nine months ago we drew 0-0 aet at Liverpool.
This season we have been outplayed by Wigan and Oxford.
The body language of the players is poor and the tactics make no sense.
The two centre halves on whom we pinned our hopes look poor.
I’d say there’s trouble at mill.
I really hope Warne, Bradley and Nelson can all turn things around. There is no joy in any of them failing.

Hector was the best reacted to eddy779h34 in Is this the worst Derby County side in the club's 139 year history?
I agree the lack of quality is the worst I have ever seen in 50 years
I don't think we have one player who has the skill to do something special to create a goal
its also far worse than last season Mr Warne from your recruitment
