It's not random, it is annoying, and I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but two words.
    Colin Gibson.
    Why? What is his purpose?
I've just watched his interview with Thorne, who seemed delighted to be the latest subject of a Col grilling.
'Tell me George, what's the purpose of the compression boot you're wearing, and do you use those crutches to support your weight after your double leg break'?
'The boot keeps the harmful effects of the sun off my leg Gibbo, and saves a few quid on the factor 30. As for the crutches, I use them to swing past dogshit I might otherwise stand in'.

'What of the pool Thorney, is that useful in your recovery?'
'Not really Col, it's just easier to pee in there than have to unfold the snake while balancing on one leg. Shouldn't you be asking me if my recovery has been aided by Mel's massive investment?'
Even Keogh is better at interviews than him.

Back once again... (for the renegade master, D4 damager).
    - Unnecessary packaging. Why does my sandwich come in a cellophane wrapper, to then have a cardboard tray underneath the roll? What is the cardboard supporting exactly. I blame the EU. Probably.
    - May have already been mentioned, but noisy eaters. There's two of the b*stards in my office. Crisps I accept can be loud, especially the crinkle cut ones but how do they make so much noise when they're eating a banana? Must be poor parenting, which will no doubt be passed down through the generations without correct treatment. Sterilise them.
    - People who go abroad and don't make any effort whatsoever to speak the language. Even if it's a simple "hello", "goodbye", "please", "thanks", "can we have a table for 4?". I hate to say it but I think the English are the worst for this.
    - On public transport when you already have control of  the armrest, because you arrived at the correct time, and the overweight, slightly smelly w*nker eating prawn cocktail crisps tries to muscle in on your turf. You try to assert your dominance with a combination of dirty sideways glances and light tutting but it's too late, he doesn't mind arm to arm contact, or if he does he can't feel it through the layers of blubber he's acquired over the last 40 years. A blight on modern Britain.
    - Also on public transport when people sit in the aisle seat, with a vacant window seat. Or even worse when they sit by the window and place their bag in the aisle seat and look at you as though you've asked them to give up their unborn child when you enquire as to whether you may move the offending item. I propose private train services for nice people only to combat this.
    - The price of razor blades.
    - Poor lift ettiquette. You've chosen the responsibility of Button Control Officer, please be courteous enough to ask me which floor I require, instead of making me lunge awkwardly over your shoulder. Anyone of sound body not travelling more than the required 6 floors in an upward direction should exit immediately.
    - Mothers with prams, old biddies, gangs of pre-teens, infact any female of our species in a city centre environment. Unfortunately sometimes men have to go shopping as well, and we must forever put up with the slow walking pace, the stopping to check the baby is still in it's pram, the stopping to look in shop windows, the stopping in shop doorways to bitch to your best girlfriend who you've just seen, the zig-zagging and changing of lanes to cut infront of you at the entrance to Birds... this is why the high street is f**ked.

The Leicester City parade thing was on the TV's at the gym last night & I found myself getting irritated by the number of players walking around the stage filming it and then standing there tapping away on the phones, presumably updating Twitter or whatever. I'm sure the same would have happened regardless of which club it was & it happens everywhere now.
Just put the phone down!. It's on TV. Thousands of fans have come to see you and you're typing on your phone. Stupid.
It was the same with the athletes at the Olympics opening ceremony. This is maybe the biggest thing they are ever going to do and highlight of their career and instead of taking in the moment, they're experiencing it through their cameras.

Not sure how this one escaped me until last Saturday but I enjoyed it. A good cast (Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg) and entertaining zombie road trip storyline with a very good cameo apppearance from Bill Murray thrown in.

People who expect their point to be taken seriously on a public forum, yet insist on using wot instead of what, etc.
Genuine spelling mistakes I can live with, but to not even be arsed to type 1 or 2 extra characters when you wish to express yourself means I'll never take your point seriously.
It's probs just me who has this problem, obvs.

Agree with you there wolfie .. But the nice side to it for me was one of the pictures in the paper of the front of the bus .. All the Leicester boys smiling laughing with phones as usual but bottom right .. Dunno which player But just resting his arms on the front bathing in the moment without an electronic device in sight .. You can see in his eyes .. Boy this is a moment and my cerebral cortex is is going to remember this way better than any flash card
tried to like your post but it says I can't ? .. Glitch or are you on a black list

All right then ladies and gents, I've taken your advice and looked at the polls. Whilst I like the suggestions of reading the forum to unwind, the temptation to browse whilst revising would still be present, therefore I think I will get myself banned (for a month if possible). I've enjoyed my time here on the forum, I'll miss you all terribly. I hereby instruct @David, @Boycie, @Srg, @eddie and all mods and members to go **** themselves. Thanks for all the good luck messages and I'll see you in a month.

Yep, bin the forum while you get your exams done.
It's your future. The forum will still be here once you have done.
I'm sure it'll do you good too, not having to read all the whining little girls posting crap because we haven't won the league by 50 points.
    Good luck

    A couple of work gripes:
People at work who are unable to make a cup of tea unless it's really milky. Even when I ask them to just put a drop in.
People who leave the sinks full of pots or just dirty from washing their hands & the kitchen area a mess generally. There are 15 of us in the company and no daily cleaner - who exactly do they think is going to clean the mess up?. Basically it's selfishness and thoughtlessness and that winds me up wherever I see it.

Where I used to work people used to bring curry and stuff to the canteen and stink the place out with garlic, it made me gag.
People who run from the back of their check out queue when they open a new checkout so they get to the front, usually with a look like 'ooh look at me, I'm wide awake and on it, you losers'
companies that take your wad of money then refuse to communicate when you have a problem with their goods
I'm contributing far too much to this topic.

I do do it, most of the time. Emptying it is a job I hate, so if the system is followed it makes it quicker and easier to empty.
It's not rockect science. Just put all the same items together, so they can be easily grabbed and put back in the cupboards with the minimum fuss. But no, that's too hard for some people who would rather mix plates of different sizes and mix up the cutlery.
Of course now she does it for a lark just to annoy me. She's so funny.

    It's just geography surely.
Chesterfield FC is normally covered on Radio Sheffield - presumably due to the geographical proximity and Burton is the closest other league team to Derby (ignoring Nottingham, obviously). Stoke is probably closer than Chesterfield and we wouldn't want them on RD.
Also, it's radio Derby, not Derbyshire.

People who have obviously never been shopping before, who act with complete surprise when the checkout worker asks them to insert their card, wasting valuable seconds while they root around in their handbag for a purse, then shuffle through 10 cards to find the correct one.

No, we don't accept Blockbuster video cards, madam, seeing as they went bust a decade ago.
Neither do we accept Tesco club card vouchers either, seeing as you're in Sainsbury's, you tight fisted ****.
I'd honestly allow each hand held laser scanner to be loaded with a round of live ammunition, to be fired into the forehead of the 1st ******** each day to feign suprise at being asked to pay for their goods, for the good of society as a whole.
