Agree. I'm just happy to still have a club to support for now. For me this season was always about making sure we don't fall through this division as well, consolidating our position and being competitive. I would have been more than happy with top 10, so everything else has been a bonus. No bitterness or disappointment if we don't go up or make the playoffs.

Can't disagree, sadly.  Still, who knows?  We might get our groove back on against a footballing side and surprise them - and ourselves!  Hope springs eternal.  I'm still reassuring myself that at least we have a team to go and support and a manager, who despite some limitations, I've really warmed to as a human being - if not a master tactician.  If we fall short this season, so what?  With a little leeway from the EFL (😂), we can start to rebuild with players that fit the model Warne wants to play in order to get out of this tinpot division.  Tension beginning to build now.  🤞

No idea as never really researched it.
Did Lineker compare the Labour party to the Nazis following the anti semitism issue? I'm going to guess not.

The fewer pundits/presenters the better. Maybe viewers will then actually form their own opinions and there will be more time for actual footage.
For the last WC (the one that Lineker and his colleagues were morally outraged about) the BBC took 11 pundits in total across TV and radio at license fee payers' expense, in an age when they could do the job from a UK studio. None of them seemed to be so affronted as to boycott that nice little all expenses paid gig, which is odd.

Perhaps the people that all of a sudden are defending freedom of speech, should have showed the same concern when people with different opinions to them were being silenced...

Just think how many asylum seekers that £5m could house...
Oh well, better to challenge it in court and expect everyone else to pay for the asylum seekers.
Yet another classic example of a champagne socialist that likes to preach to the gullible.

I don't watch it specifically because Lineker and his cronies are on it. I want to watch football not listen to their completely inane drivel.

Here's a random idea - let's just have a MOTD with just football.  No chat, no presenters, maybe no commentators either.  Just footie that we can make our own minds on what's good/bad, right or wrong.  You never know we might be able to have more actual football to fill the available time

If he was being cancelled, would have not had the platform where he made his comments, ie Twitter, removed?
All that has happened here is that he has not followed his employers guidelines and is being reprimanded.
Not interested in his political views anyway, just want him gone because he is a complete waste of licence fee payers money.
£1.4m a year for a job they could pay someone £30k for and you'd not notice any difference.

He wasn’t taking the moral high ground when he was shagging around behind his wife’s back. Also it is easy for him to say such things because on his £1m’s wages he probably doesn’t have to sit in A&E for 12 hours or apply for benefits to help put food on the table. The average working man will see these boats coming over and wonder is that what my taxes is going on.
How many of these are genuine? If they are why aren’t they using the proper channels? What wrong with the 3 or 4 countries they have come through that are most likely in the “EU” if it’s so great.

Excellent news. Perhaps we can now have a football programme that just shows football without all the pointless nonsense in between of a bunch of ex players saying nothing of interest or import, whilst robbing licence fee payers of 100s of thousands a year in wages.
