Morris is the reason we are in administration. Gibson is the reason we can't get out of it.
Expediting his claims and getting them heard may be the pragmatic solution, but let's be clear: I (and most Derby fans) think these claims are spurious, completely unprecedented (no club has ever "sued" another over P+S breaches), motivated by personal malice, and being exploited by Gibson to mete out his own personal "punishment" to a club facing liquidation.

So what does he want beyond the massive points deductions, administration and players sales that we're going through?
It's alright slamming his fist against his desk saying you would have been promoted if we hadn't cheated. We thought about doing the same after our losses to QPR and Villa but then reminded ourselves we aren't petty, vindictive dick swinging ********.
So, what does he want?

The Gibbon knows he has no case, there is no precedent for his actions and he knows he will lose in a court of law. But that is not his motive, he doesn't care about any pay out. His sole motive is to prevent for as long as possible the Derby takeover. He is a very sad and bitter man. You should be pressurising him, as football fans, to end the nonsense.

Long time since I posted on here but I logged in to agree that this is by far the most sensible solution that all sides should be pushing for. Morris is the root cause of your problems and our (and Wycombe's) ire. He shouldn't hide behind the convenience of UK company law to avoid having to fix the mess he made.
I'm aware that you will all have strong views on Gibson but I'm 99.9% certain he would support this kind of arrangement, he doesn't want your club to go out of business.

Because literally nobody trusts the EFL's arbitration process.

So, in effect we (Derby in administration) are powerless to speed up the sale of the club. We are completely tied up in a thousand knots. Unfortunately then I think the only way forward is for the administrators to cut through the crap, say enough is enough and threaten liquidation by publishing a forward date to do so. If that doesn't force the issue nothing will and if DCFC do go under the EFL & the parasites will have to deal with the almighty row and stink that will surely be levelled at them.
All we can do as fans is what we have been doing, support the team on the pitch (not bothered which entity owns them) whether that be in the championship, league 1, league 2 or versus the Dog & Duck pub side.
No way should we pay the parasites a single penny. Ive had enough I'm afraid.

The reason Boro will not even go to arbitration, never mind the High Court, is that an LAP produces a report of its conclusions that goes into the public domain. The report is likely to be very damning of the Boro case and will raise questions about their motives and delays. This will be hard for the great Ego to take, looking like the "bad guy"
He will eventually, after maximum damage to the admins and DCFC, drop the claim and say he didn't want to see a founder member of the Football League go to the wall........
In the meantime we are powerless and so are the Admins......The EFL however, could do something if they grow a pair.

Short of literally banging people's heads together, holding them to ransom, locking Gibson in a torture chamber for 24 hours and peeling his nails off one by one until he agrees to drop the claims there's not really anything they can do.
They can't go against their legal duties. The EFL refuse to play ball and follow legal procedure. Stalemate. Vendetta.
The EFL could have sorted this all out by threatening to kick Boro out of the league if they go against the EFL's stated policy that clubs cannot take action against each other. That would have ended their claims against us there and then.
They're happy to threaten us with expulsion because we want to commit the crime of... following the law!

I'm still frothing over the whole claims matter. I cannot for the life of me get my head around just what the F those 2 ducking clubs are pissing around at.
Absolutely shameful

Boro will never go to court. I doubt they will even go to EFL arbitration. They are looking for a "settlement" and are using delay to try to extort a settlement. If they form the view that a settlement is virtually impossible, they will drop the claim and try to claim some high ground saying they are helping a fellow club in distress.
In the meantime they will stay schtum.

From someone who doesn't really get fussed...myself, This is getting very serious for DCFC, We're having the life choked out of us by the EFL/Boro and WW, Q are in an awfull position, Pay up and let it be known that DCFC "cheated" then creditors get less, Or Liquidation, There is no movement from from the 3 above, Impasse, Stalemate, Log jam, Intransigence, Complacent, Call it what you like I see no happy ending here.
For me, I'd pull the rug from under the EFL call them out and Liquidate...Now!
Sorry for those who would accept a payment to Boro/WW, But it goes against my upbringing, Don't give in to Bullies...Never!
Just to add.
If we're liquidated at the end of Febuary, Where does Q stand with getting payment?

As I said yesterday, Boro/Wycombe will almost certainly do and say nothing. That is their strongest weapon, whilst the EFL impotantly wring their hands.
Boro/Wycombe will only move if offered money. If offered money it legitimises their claim and we will forever be labelled cheats. If offered money then real creditors will be disadvantaged and in any case it would probably expose the Admins to legal action against them. This is why Boro/Wyc will simply sit there and do nothing because unless the EFL change position, the impasse remains.
EXTORTION, EXTORTION, EXTORTION, EXTORTION

I have said it before and will continue to do so. The EFL have Peter Ridsdale on their board. The same Peter Ridsdale who was banned from being a director of any company from 2012-2020 for siphoning £350k into his personal bank account not a business account.
The EFL ladies and gentlemen, rotten to the core.

Both statements from MFC have been written by a kid on a YTS scheme. Cannot believe that a professional outfit should write absolute garbage and childish name calling.
As much as MM is 100% to blame, you cannot argue with the detailed and considered response.
MFC are a Mickley mouse outfit run by petty clowns. So hope they fail miserably to go up and get hit by FFP.

I remember him saying that he’d put DCFC into administration as he felt the EFL were biased against him and wouldn’t consider the issues fairly whilst he was still the owner. That is consistent with him seeing that they are continuing their vendetta against the club in his absence, so deciding to get back involved again.

In the meantime, a team with 8k supporters playing in this league, have two players up top that cost 34 million pounds plus another that cost 15 million in midfield. More than enough to save us with plenty left. Add 5 loans in as well.
Derby BOOOOOOooooo. Cheats........ Unfair advantage......... Put them in the conference .. Liquidate.....
Feck off.

Absolutely bizarre that the EFL have said they should be defended as football debts without even seeing the cases.
Does anyone actually believe any of the tripe that they come out with?
