My Christmas plans have gone down the pan as half of my family have COVID. Seems like the ones who didn't have it last winter have caught this time around. 
I'm struggling to understand the reasoning behind potential lockdowns this time around. I completely understood last winter because we had no protection of this virus, the death toll was horrible and the hospitals were a mess. It was the right thing to do, as difficult as it was for my family and friends. 
My reasons for having the vaccine weren't really for my own benefit but to protect the others around me who don't have the immune system to fight something like this. And now inevitably the unvaccinated are causing the problems, surprise surprise. Call me harsh, I have zero sympathy for these people who are in the hospital and haven't had a vaccine. They are the primary reason why we might have to go backwards towards not mixing households again. Take some responsibility for yourselves. This isn't some crazy conspiracy.
I feel like I've made sacrifices to give the scientists / government time to get this pandemic under control. Too many people are reading utter rubbish on the internet in their spare time and it's flooded their minds to make rash and irresponsible decisions. This was going to happen at some point and for the majority of people who've taken a vaccine, even if there weren't 100% behind it, they now have to suffer the consequences. 

HSBC got their fine reduced from £91m to £64m today by not contesting the FCA decision on money laundering. 
Natwest got fined £265m four days ago for money laundering as well. 
No individual faces jail though. people made decisions to allow drug and terrorist money to be laundered much as people allowed DCFC to not pay tax to HRMC.
Maybe we should go after the individuals who make these decisions, that might stop it!
If the head honcho at HSBC, Natwest and DCFC went to prison for a decade or two some of the financial irregularity which plagues our society may be reduced?

Think we need to stop blaming Red Bull for this mess. They had to be creative and their strategy was excellent. Mercs played it cautious and they were on the end of a very dodgy call which I think people need to accept and move on.
It's good to see Lewis acting with class and dignity. I don't agree with some of his personal opinions however the man is one of the best sportsman around. I can't say the same for Toto Wolff. He clearly tried to influence the race control regarding the safety car which is dangerous, selfish and embarrassing to the sport. It's like having managers gobbing off at the referee when they know it's not the right decision, I can't stand it. What an entitled so so.
Massi has to go, not just for yesterday's shambles but for the entire season. Baffling calls against both the big teams, zero consistency in the rules. If the FIA want to try this "umpires decision" ruling during the race then write it clearly. It's a mess, great entertainment but it's like watching Stuart Atwell ref the Derby Forest game every weekend. 

The problem I have is the FIA needed to make the lapped car decision much quicker than 2 laps to go. I understand they wanted to do it for the good of the sport and entertainment, however I don't think it is right to decide at the last minute. Lewis was a sitting duck and could do nothing about it. 
A little bit of karma though, how many times have Mercedes had decisions go there way this season? One too many.

Take politics out of the situation, how do people in authority expect everyone to follow rules and guidance when they've blatantly broken these themselves. I feel sorry for people's loved ones who are dead or seriously ill because of this virus and these disgusting individuals in power treat it as a complete joke. What sacrifices have they had to make? No more cheese and wine Friday nights in the office, can't have some private time with the secretaries?
Disgrace. There's zero integrity left in my view and I'll be amazed if the majority of people stick to any social distancing measures going forward. Them two experts on the podium during these conferences need more recognition, their noses must be immune to all the brown stuff coming out of the politicians mouth.
