£0 because we supposedly haven't matched (or bettered) his current contract.

Burrows is under contract for another season. Even if he was 'free' this summer, he would have cost a significant compensation fee.

Ghost of Clough got a reaction from Carl Sagan in Transfer rumours
Brown reportedly rated at £17m by Gent, with Villa and Palace linked.
Whittaker reporedly had an £8.5m bid from Lazio turned down in January.
Ebosele was linked with Spurs, with around £12m being needed for Udinese to sell.
Buchanan moved from Bremen to Birmingham for around £1.5m.
Liam Delap is available again this summer, with Man City looking for £10m.
Sibley was better than all of them.
Add, Bird, Knight (and Sibley) to that list above and it's only £6m generated from sales, whereas they'd cost more than £50m now.

Hughes looked a class above his peers at U18 level, but was never a match winner like Sibley.
Huddlestone similar to Hughes in respect to looking a class above (and a physical monster for his age) but not being a match winner... not surprising for a CB tbh.
Barnes was a more rounded player than Sibley, and I would argue much more entertaining to watch. But I don't think he had the end product Sibley had.

Because depite having one of the biggest gate receipts in the league, we won't have a top 6 turnover (due to parachute payments), and will most likely have a midtable playing budget. We'll therefore have to "punch above our weight" if we're to achieve the ultimate aim for most Championship clubs... promotion out of the Championship.

I had the privilege of watching him for the U18s & U21s prior to him breaking through and that's what I'm referring towards so I'm talking in regards to his peers. It was absolutely no to me that he had 5 goals & 2 assists in his first 11 games. It was also no surprise Wolves were desperate to sign him before he burst on to the scene for £5m plus. He was an elite-level prospect, he shared a pitch with players worth £40m+ now and looked every inch as good. He was a midfielder who got involved in every level could drag a team by their coattails and his career should've been vastly, vastly different. The more I think about it and what he was, to the point we've arrived to, makes me feel a bit sick. Whittaker and Archie Brown got out at the right time - both were good prospects, Brown in particular, but neither were remotely close to Sibley IMO.
Huddlestone, Hughes & Barnes I only got to see at a first-team level so unfair comparison.

15 goals in 12 games for Warrington, including 2 against both Matlock and Macclesfield, as well as goals against Ilkeston and FC Utd of Manchester... for a bit of context of level.
Prior to that, he had half a season at Cheadle Heath Nomads and scored 20 goals.
For what it's worth his agent (Willie Mackay) is also the same person as Emiliano Sala

Ghost of Clough got a reaction from Rammy03 in Punching above our weight. What do you think would elevate us above mid table next season?
So last season Luton were a bigger club that Derby?
Bigger global audience due to being a PL club frequently on TV, whilst we only had a few TV games.
They were certainly able to sign better players than we could.
No difference in the ability to challenge for major trophies.
What you refer to are more closely linked to financial power - the more you spend, the more you can attact players and challenge for trophies, whilst also increasing exposure to a wider audience.
Our ceiling isn't "midtable PL". Our ceiling is no different from the likes of Leicester who have shown how a reasonable sized club can still win the league, even if the stars do need to align for it to happen. It's mostly been that way since the 70s anyway, with only Blackburn, Leeds, Forest and Villa (to a lesser degree) being surprise winners since we last won it almost 50 years ago.

I don't think you entirely read my post....
I'm a proper petrolhead and have driven the smoothest diesels and petrols you could ever find on the road but none of them, including top end luxury performance cars match a EV in terms of smoothness, refinement and performance on a public road.
A 8 speed gearbox is great but when compared to a new EV which doesn't have gears, there's no comparison.
And,as a person who now delivers cars all around the country,I'm in a great position to actually speak from experience in respect of the charging infrastructure.
In respect of many of your other comments, you appear to be quoting directly from the daily mail and they are simply nonsense for the most part.
EVs are inherently more reliable than combustion engine vehicles, they simply have far fewer moving parts and batteries are proving to last longer than was ever expected...there are Tesla's out there on huge mileages on their original batteries.
Car batteries aren't like phone batteries, they are completely different!
As I say, whether you are a luddite or not,go and get a 24 hour test drive of a modern EV and you will be amazed.
Very, very few people ever go back to fuel burning cars after living with an EV.

Ghost of Clough got a reaction from Ram-Alf in Electric Vehicles
I only had a Corsa, but there was a sharp drop if going above 60mph. Below that the range was fairly accurate, just like the range given on an ICE car varies slightly.
The other major factor is driving style. Accelerating/decellerating sharply is a waste of charge. If you hypermile already then you'll be fine.
Range also drops a bit if it's cold (maybe noticible when below 5degC?).

Since I retired,I've delivered new cars on a part time basis (about a 50 percent mix of petrols and electric cars, very, very rarely a diesel) and despite my initial scepticism,I've found that the British charging infrastructure is actually now very good and improving on a weekly basis.
I regularly deliver from 150 to 300 miles away with just a comfort break every couple of hours which allows a 30 minutes top up charge whilst I'm there.
The trouble is,that the media are perpetrating myths that don't stand up anymore about ev's but it's all the public have to go on
I started my journey with a plug in hybrid three years ago but having found that I use electric 90 percent of the time,we are moving to a full EV in a couple of months (polestar 2 or Hyundai ioniq 5 most probably as they are my favourite cars to deliver)

I love how much you’ll move the goalposts to die on any particular hill you created for yourself.
You said we’ve had no international players since Stimac and Wanchope, that’s the statement you made, you didn’t qualify it further with any additional conditions around those stars having a “following”.
I still agree with you that Villarreal and West Ham are currently bigger clubs than Derby, I just think the way you’re qualifying your opinion on it is questionable and smacks once more of you parading your opinion as superior to anyone else
