Well obviously you're setting this up for a fall RD because you'd find it funnier, but in all seriousness the pattern of the last few games have been a case of if you don't like the last result, just hang around, it'll all change again, triumph to despair in the space of 90 mins.
It's in our hands for now at least but since when did we ever do anything easily? I'm fully expecting more twists and turns and although we've won a lot of games this season we've also had several worrying random piss poor performances against the poorer teams in this division so absolutely nobody is taking anything for granted at this stage. We'll get there if we get there and I'll worry about celebrating then if we get over the line.

It might be 'just' a chance to get back in the Championship but I imagine that you'd have been cheering as loudly as the rest when Forest managed to haul themselves out of the 3rd tier. Unless they change the rules I think we're only allowed to get promoted one division at a time, so if we can see this through to a successful conclusion I'd be over the moon for now ta.

As for your lot, well it's still wide open. I've maintained that you have 3 worse teams than you and I still think you'll stay up but there are some huge games coming up. Your game at Everton looks massive, particularly when Luton are home to Brentford on the same day. Even if you are in trouble after that lot though, you still have the bottom 2 teams to play in your last 3 games. Club colours aside, it's actually been a genuinely interesting PL campaign at both ends but after last weekend it looks like advantage Man City and I don't expect them to need a 2nd invitation to take advantage.

He was happy enough to sign a £350k a week contract though.
Rashford is another talented player who has a huge spotlight on him because he plays for Man Utd.
He is paid far above what his ability represents because he is at Man Utd, and he is regularly talked about as some kind of elite player because he is at Man Utd.
He is a decent player, but no better than say Raheem Sterling.

I think we've been incredibly lucky here. 
If we can't gain one more point than Luton by one point by the end of the season, that's out own fault and deserve relegation. 

The logic of the offical statement from Forest seems to suggest that they are being punished for over spending, that somehow not letting them do so allows those with deeper pockets to outspend them. This is a flawed argument on many grounds.
1: Them was the rules all along, if you don't like them then don't play.
2: Those rules were brought in for the absolute benefit of the smaller clubs, to prevent them having to overspend and go into massive debts just to keep up. Indeed, they were put there to ensure that the biggest teams didn't have endless means on their spending, a la early Abramovich.
3: The size of the breach is of such a magnitude as to suggest either complete stupidity or flagrant intent to ignore.
For those comparing the case of Forest and Derby it is clear to see one is a case of bad accounting (ours, as a club we were collectively a bit too cute and we served our punishment, but it was in the end one owner trying to play fast and loose with a definition of debt) and the other a blatant attempt to just subvert the rules as put in place. Forest can cry all they want that they are being chopped off at the knees but the truth is there to see, they broke the rules of the competition they chose to enter into.
The problem we have now is that we enter into a phase of the journey where the lawyers of the convicted become potentially bigger than the lawyers of those prosecuting. Not for Forest but when the day of reckoning comes for City it will be very interesting indeed to see how that plays out.
But, and I say this as someone who is far from a Forest hater (I don't live near there and have no friends or otherwise who support them), it is a sad day when you see the blight that has hit the lower leagues arrive in the top flight. Teams are now not relegated based on their footballing ability and our very close shave with extinction will likely be surpassed by someone like Forest, who just get themselves in that little bit too deep. It is going to happen.

It's hardly an urgent issue, anyway. Their current arrangement runs for another 30-odd years. Though Harry Arter will still be under contract by then.
