I'll be honest @angieram, I was a massive fan of signing Jacob, he'd long been the most impressive midfielder we'd come up against.

Oh, those heady days of watching a player like Butterfield bang in the goals that took us to the top of the championship.

wasn’t good enough for our lot though

On a plus note from the meeting 3 groups have shown proof of funds and 1 of those groups has the efl owners and directors test draft. Does this mean they’ve been through the efl and done the test or have the paperwork ready to do it anyone?

Who knows mate, it doesn’t sound like it’s going to get us out of the immediate quicksand situation we’re in.

FFS. Have you not seen the message from @David saying he'll type something up in the morning?

Rather than this being typical of the poo show that is DCFC at the moment, your post is typical of those that feel the need to have a pop rather than wait to see what is shared. I suggest you be patient, go to bed and then respond appropriately when David has had a chance to share what he can.

It’s not just David I’m having a go at, but there’s nothing coming out so far, normally at these events someone would be doing a running commentary, but tonight there’s nothing. Not everyone at the meeting tonight has no access to the internet. I guess we can wait wait another day for info, we’ve waited 18 months after all. But I’m not holding out much hope after what seems like an information blackout again.

Lets be honest, most of us are complicit.

Just the same as anyone that has sat there slagging off the officials having watched the 10th replay of an incident, is complicit in VAR.

Just the same as anyone that has watched a match on Sky on Tuesday/Thursday/Friday at 12pm, 6pm, 8pm, is complicit in matches being played at times inconvenient for fans.

Everyone that has continued with their Sky Sports subscription whilst watching them rip the heart of our national game, is complicit with this financial situation.

Reap what you sow and all that.

They’ve set the ball rolling and are now up in arms because football doesn’t need them any more. The Asian market is far more lucrative than the domestic one. The Euro super duper league will come sooner rather than later and you’ll have games kicking off at times to suit China. I said it years ago, it’s just a matter of time.

The best thing that could have happened to our game is if the Fat 5/6 would have kept their nerve and buggered off to sunnier climates. Get it over and done with.

If you put him under someone like Bielsa then I’ve no doubt he would be a top player. He has all the attributes to be a great player but lacks the direction and fight.

In a Leeds team he would be very good.

He wouldn’t get a look in at Leeds.

Can't understand why anyone thinks we are bringing players in? Or will be bringing players in?

We have just manage to scrape enough pennies together to pay our current crop of players.

The takeover is quite clearly not happening and Morris is not putting any more of his money into the club. So much so that he just didn't pay the players.

and tbf, if Derby came in for one of your players, there’d be none of this deferred payments or bonus clauses, you’d want the money up front, cash, in a suitcase, or no deal.

True on an individual basis, but it's all about how the team (and squad) works together. Think that promotion season was my favourite chapter in Pride.

Billy built something special that season, shame it all went wrong for him after that.

That’s not how I remember it, I didn’t enjoy that season at all.
