Leeds v Norwich is the most one-sided playoff game since Derby v Brighton.

There is a big gap between these two. Makes Ipswich’s success all the more impressive.

Assuming it will be Leeds vs Southampton, I can’t think of a stronger playoff final.

Some contrast to last year’s final.

    My thought exactly

Looking at her my first thought was that she normally performed in ‘specialist’ films….

The whole thing has the feel of a student or school film - but I suspect that students would be embarrassed to produce such poor quality.

I looked her up. Turns out she's the wife of the writer / producer of the film.

    They'd fail

Renegades on Amazon Prime - could possibly be the worst film I’ve ever seen. A British version of the Expendables without any of the humour or special effects.

Awful plot, script, casting, characters, dialogue, camerawork, audio - and I can only think that the main cast (most of whom are well known actors) had a side bet to see who could give the most wooden performance.
If you choose to give it a try (and it’s so bad that it’s almost worth watching) make sure you stick with it until Stephanie Beacham appears - the oldest policewoman in the Met who (with tough competition) gives the most unbelievable performance in the whole film….

    Mikel Beck out of ten….

You were right. It's dreck. The script is one cliche after another and the woman playing the detective can't be an actual actress.

This makes me want to watch it

There is a certain arrogance about Real Madrid that I don’t like. From the way their fans behave, to the players.

They act like they are kings and have some sort of given right to be in the final.

They were battered by City. Absolutely battered. So lucky to get through that.

Hope Dortmund upset the apple cart, roll around for 90 minutes and beat them with a last-minute VAR awarded penalty.

    Franco's team.

When you get help from the dictator of your country, you tend to win stuff.

One of the worst, Steve Bull diving for a pen for Wolves away game just before Christmas in the early 90s. 5 minutes from time and put them 2-1 up. Our defender, name escapes me, was sent off too. We then went up the other end and scored 2, the winner deep in to injury time, to win 3-2 so all worked out in the end.

I think it was Simon Coleman. Bobby D got one of ours

I could bore you for a while on Madri working there, but can emphatically say it is not "just Carling".

The whole hyperbole of world lagers being brewed in the UK is just daft. It just makes far more financial sense. It doesn't change the ingredients. Scenes when people realise Fosters isn't Australian.

The water must be different, though, right?

I thought they were silly signing half a new team in January

I always wonder in such situations how much say the head coach has in signings.

    You were saying?
“Sutton Coldfield and its surrounding suburbs are governed under Birmingham City Council for local government purposes but the town has its own town council which governs the town and its surrounding areas by running local services and electing a mayor to the council. It became part of Birmingham and the West Midlands metropolitan county under the Local Government Act 1972.

Sorry. I am just living in the past. As a Warwickshire man, I still refuse to accept that it, along with Solihull and Coventry, were ripped from us.

Birmingham. Have you never been to Edgbaston, Digbeth, Sutton Coldfield? I lived for several years in Erdington, Five Ways and Four Oaks. Lovely but pricey

    Sutton Coldfield is not Birmingham

Comparing him to a manager from 35 years ago just backs up my post 😊

I said he was the most successful in points return, I think he'll take a comparison against Arthur though and a testament to what he has achieved 🥳

Being on the spectrum, I sometimes find it difficult to tell whether someone is joking. Sometimes.

By you maybe not, however by the people that count, fortunately it is 😏

Once Warne has got us promoted to the top league next season then up to 5th in the top division, I'll consider a comparison with Arthur Cox. Once he's won the league, well, you know the rest.

Regardless of budgets, we will go down as our best manager in history in terms of points return and our most successful since Billy D.

Succeeded where the lines of SM and co failed, give me another season of his football (which I enjoyed) and a promotion over anything served up on all of Mels tenure.

Also one of very few that didn't bottle it going into the final part of the season, didn't panic like those before and deserves all the plaudits for doing so.

    Get that statue built 😊

Fortunately, points per game is not the only metric by which the quality of coach is judged
