Assuming we accept and pay the £100k fine asap are we still under a transfer embargo until we re-submit the accounts? If so how long have the EFL got to accept our re-submitted figures?

The root of this is the stupid acceptance by the EFL that relegated clubs from the PL can rely on 4 years worth of parachute payments that ensure they have the unfair advantage of retaining or buying the best players thus disadvantaging others in the league who don't benefit from this unfair income. Mel has tried his hardest to circumnavigate his way around this grossly unfair system in an effort to make us competitive.

I don't think their potential appeal is against our to be re-submitted accounts I think its against the £100k fine. In other words they could appeal today if they wanted.

The point I think Curtains is making is that we don't have to play the blame game. Of course DCFC have been mismanaged BUT at this juncture that isn't the point. We are being attacked and as a club it would be nice to fight back on a united front. 

Have they considered they might not even have the ball or are the Denmark team in on this and they will they get a time check and pass to them...............very strange!

The fact is none of our attacking players did anything last season because we have a manager that kills every attacking aspect of our game and makes it impossible for any attacker to perform well.

If we buy Matt Clarke can we insert a clause that he has to have a grade 4 cut all over? 

Don't know where else to put this but imo Vardy has perfected the "art" of catching his own foot behind the defenders leg in a race to cheat a penalty. Really angers me but then so does all the "There was contact so its a penalty" rubbish!!

Agree Reggie, but the point remains, debt free what is DCFC worth? 

So, if we owe Cocu & staff 8m add HMRC 20m add 30m loans total owed 58m. If Mel decided to pay that all off himself so the club had no debt how much is DCFC worth including Pride Park and the training ground?

If I was David I'd say if you dont like the name of the forum go and start your own.

Marshall looking shakey against Israel. At fault for the goal and seemed a bit late in his decision making. Roos keeps his place I guess.

In any case, as you've made clear in several posts now, your stance is that if we're not on the coaching staff, we can't offer a valid opinion. If that's the case we may well as close the forum.  

That's not a fair reflection of my view hair island. Of course you can offer an opinion but so can I. If mine is different to yours please see the post before yours.

I can't tell. I haven't seen them training. Their performances on the pitch have all been as poor as Sibley however.edit..Shinnue has done better than the others.

Given Wazza is meant to have gleaned some lessons from his time under Ferguson, you'd think he'd have learned that you defend your players as individuals to the hilt in public and if they need the hairdryer treatment, it's done in private. Publicly shaming your players, even when you're 100% correct, is the fastest way to lose a dressing room and frankly, it just smacks of desperation.
