Is a manager on wages like Rooneys an appropriate appointment at a time like this? It wasn’t before administration, it sure as hell won’t be now.

The administrators will be looking to find a buyer for the club as soon as possible. A club with Wayne Rooney at the helm would probably be an easier sell than if one of the coaches is running the show. I quite rightly have no idea what Wayne Rooney earns, I would imagine nobody else on this forum does  either.

I do think the first part of your post is a worrying attitude.

I am enjoying the majority of the football we are playing. I like the way we are playing out from the back. The movement is generally good. We clearly have an obvious problem up front which is going to stay with us until at least the new year. 
The first Birmingham goal was nothing to do with pressure, just a sloppy pass back by a young player. The second could have been avoided if our overrated and unreliable right back had bothered to track their player back when he picked up an unfortunate ricochet. 
 

Not surprised on here by some of the usual suspects who only pop up after a loss asking for a Neanderthal approach to football.

Takes me back to us winning the league first time under Clough. It was only because of the result at Wolves and Arsenal that Derby were champions. Absolutely nothing to do with the other 41 games that Leeds and Liverpool had played.

We need a different kind of striker. We need one that gets himself into the area. His control is great, but we are crying out for someone with more awareness in front of goal. It is a real shame for Kazim but may benefit us as a team with the right replacement.

Sleepy Byrne the weak link in defence again. 

It seems to me that everything to do with the club is in an impossible position until a takeover or significant investment is made. I have no issue with Mel, he backed his managers and recruitment team and they made bad or risky decisions collectively. 
The difficult situation the cub is in is always going to make reporting openly a hard thing to do. 
As regards David’s situation. Thanks for attending for us, nothing to beat yourself up about or to my mind even apologise for. 
I personally would not have a problem with a line being drawn underneath it and say no info is coming out.

The cross was so difficult to defend. We were chasing their forwards back towards our goal and two of their forwards had a clear header to go for.

The big guy was the obvious target, we should have had a player looking at him to block his path.

I would start by running 5K, just join your local parkrun, they are free and there will certainly be one near to you. You will probably find it easier running with others than on your own. Then also commit to a couple of runs in the week. You will soon find that 10k will be fairly comfortable. Running clubs are not just for the elite runners. Look at a local running club through Jog Derbyshire, they are free to run with and go out at least twice a week.

This time next year you will be thinking hmmmm! I might just sign up for the Derby half. ?

Personally I don’t really care who can or cannot go into a nightclub, but can see the sense in the government bringing in the restrictions. I can also see the sense in bringing in the same rules for Stadiums with packed concourses like Pride Park. 
At the same time, I understand that some young men are scared of needles in case it hurts. ?
