Cashin was immense 👏

I dreamt about my mobile only last week funnily enough. I was in New York and the floods washed it away. I was in a big railway station picking up all these phones from puddles, trying to find mine.

1 defeat in 7 and 3 consecutive clean sheets.
It might not be pretty at times but I don't understand all the negativity.

Out of my depth here but I think it's the one where the penalty spot had to be painted. Judging by the players could it be 1977? And my memory (from the video, since this pre-dates my entry into the world) is that we were playing a team in blue. Could be an away kit but I'll go for Man City.
In sum: Man City (home) 1977
Spot on (if you'll excuse the pun).

I was at that last game v Ipswich when Franny scored two goals. Glad I got to see him play.

I could be a million miles away here, but was this our first ever league fixture? I think we played Bolton Wanderers away 1888.
Edit - year completely wrong, having seen the post above.
Yes 8th September 1888. Rams were 3-0 down.

62. For the next ten days, I'll be posting games that are known for their significance or for a talking point.
Year, opponents and what it's known for? 6.3 away win. Goals not necessarily in the correct order.

I think I have the significance to you, it was April 1st 1989 😉
Almost! My wife was very heavily pregnant at the time and went into labour on Sunday 2nd while the highlights show was on. I kept saying 'yes I'll drive you to hospital once I've seen the Derby goal'! Eventually our daughter popped out in record time!
And yes, two weeks later, I recall sitting on the sofa holding the wee baby, watching the awful events at Hillsborough unfold on TV.

Not a clue which game this is but I will say that I was almost as upset at Paul Blades leaving as I was when George Williams left.
Maybe guess the year? Opponents were another Midlands club.

59. Year, opponents, memories. Tricky one today, I've posted it because it was Paul Blades only ever Derby goal. This game has a bit of significance for me that I'll explain later.

58. Year, opponents and memories (if you're old!) 5-0.
Scorers may not be in the correct order.

You got it! Would've been difficult to be too far out as it's pretty recent!
-
57. Year, opponents, memories. 0-2 defect.

I've seen it both seated and standing. Preferred the latter as the effects are even more impressive if you're central.
A new daily game. Name the year & opponents of a famous Rams match
