Because unlike lots of players (according to many fans) he cares about the club, he cares about how he plays for the club and he wants the club to do well.

Just to clarify I didn’t want Curtis to stay at Derby right from the start of this season.

We are drilled to look back first not forward. I understand us doing this to try and create gaps but it’s not working.   Maybe I have to accept the way it is now and chill out.  
 
That 1st half against Blackburn was the pits.  Bournemouth and Fulham will smash us playing the way we are.

I maintain Curtis Davies is not the answer he’s far too slow and his distribution is poor at best.

We can’t play football.
There is no movement off the ball, no passing and moving, most of our passes are safe passes, ie they go nowhere.
The players are doing the absolute minimum they can get away with, the defensive stuff, but when we have the ball there’s nothing there, no-one making runs, no-one making themselves available for a pass, no-one looking to make the pass.

Curtis gives the ball away so much and says sorry after he’s dug out then he turns on the team

Yeah, you're right. Apologies.
Not sure how things will change in the short term though.
I have tried to take a longer term view in another thread - Reset and start preparing for the future.

I think both statements are ok alongside each other .
ie Improvement needed. 

Anyhow bye for now before I say something I regret.
