I'm not concerned that you're not concerned about about my views.
Maybe @David wouldn't be content (I've think he's said as much) and that's fine. What I am saying though is to insist on NDA's isn't an insult, isn't a sign of contempt and isn't a loss of credibility.
The way I see it, assuming there are some sensitive answers Mel wants to give that aren't quite ready for public disclosure or debate, he had three choices:
    1) Continue to keep us completely in the dark
    2) Hold a public Q&A but avoid any sensitive issues
    3) Hold a confidential Q&A with a small group of representatives who, cannot disclose full details of the answers, but may be able to give some comfort to the wider public fan base.
Whilst not ideal, option three sounds like the best and doesn't sound like an insult, sign of contempt or loss of credibility to me.
Which would you choose if full disclosure to every one (it would soon be all over social media) is off the table the moment?

They said that when we signed a 37 year old Paul Mcgrath who had knackered knees.
    He was Superb that season.
I've seen enough of Jag to be of the opinion that he would be a great signing for a season.

No but In our dire situation ie: not a single recognised centre half to our name… it’s the equivalent of signing varane

This is totally consistent with the trend of the lack of communication from the club and a case lesson in how not to manage someones expectations.
Either the flow of information is non existent or when information is shared there seems to be an eagerness to tell supporters information to appease them without any concentre substance behind it that's it's actually going to happen by those timescales, or just random statements without any forethought that people then will expect the statement to be actioned by that point.
I remember working in the automotive sector and my boss used to ring me and ask me when the line would be up and running, one time I stated approximately ten minutes, after 11 minutes he rang again to say why isn't it running yet as you said ten minutes. Because the expectation was you've said a timescake now I'm going to hold you to it. No difference here.

I just hope all participants are aware of their profile.
We don't want images of David and "Instagram models/influencers" in a cheap hotel room to start surfacing in the Grimsby chronicle.

I know I'll get in trouble and this post will get taken down, but I know the real reason for the NDA.
It's that sausages are going to be served.

What a complete state of a club we have become ...just read through the 12 pages on this thread....I just do not get how anyone can possibly have sympathy with Mr Morris when we are in such a shocking mess......debts to the HMRC are     in-excuseable !!!
Good loyal fans on here wanting answers about a club they love yet the owner will no doubt only answer questions he's comfortable with with well rehearsed answers yet we owe millions to the HMRC........
When just when we will get back to talking about the game we grew up as kids loving instead of finances and aspects of running a business that many of us will know nothing about.......I think its a total disgrace how it has come to this .......I would rather have the yanks back .........than someone who cannot genuinely face us like one of us and just be honest....I think we have all had enough of this and I'll be honest it has affected my sleep as I'm so worried this club is in deep deep trouble and much more than we can imagine as Collymore alluded to .....

Similar story to me. I was born in Wolverhampton and grew up in Staffs too.
My Nan and Grandad used to watch Wolves in their glory days, and their son and grandson both supported Wolves too. The 80s were pretty dire times for Wolves though, down in the bottom division with no money and loads of violence. My Grandad had fallen out of love with football I think, so there was never much of a push to follow them. My dad loves football too, but never really supported anyone, and was also put of by what matches had become.
I think I had already picked up on Wolves fan's belief that they had a divine right to be the best team too. Maybe all teams have a bit of that, but it always felt a bit more self-entitled with Wolves.
Anyway, it wasn't for me, nor was supporting Liverpool who all other kids followed if not Wolves.
I think I was aware of Derby first through Simon Groom on Blue Peter. It was rare in those days for famous people to talk about a football team they support, so it must have stuck with me.
I used to like listening to football on radio, but West Midlands stations didn't do commentary from what I remember, plus they covered lots of different teams too. I discovered Radio Derby were mainly focused on one team and also had commentary of just Derby too. They also had Graham Richards too.
Combined with the promotion and success at the end of 80s, plus a sticker album and Dean Saunders, I got hooked.
My dad, and myself, played sport every weekend so little opportunity to get to any games.
Appropriately, my first game was at Wolves, sitting in their fans with orders to not give anything away. We won 3-2 with 2 late goals, and I imagined to keep a lid on it until we got back in the car.
I did see a Wolves scum walk pass a quite geeky looking fan in Derby shirt after the game and smash him in the stomach. My decision to support Derby was validated on every level!
Since those times I lived in Yorkshire, London and north of London. Got to games where I can, including lots of away games in the South East. Looking forward to taking my boys again to Pride Park, their last game was Leeds playoff first leg. A lot has changed since then!

Was born in reading … not a million miles away from the old elm park
Born in Matlock Dad was stalwart Derby and it was only a matter or time before he migrated us back up towards the midlands .. unfortunately for me we only stopped back in Derby for a couple of years due to a bad house move so ended up in Nottingham but that didn’t stop me following him around the country watching my now beloved rams
sadly now it’s a journey I have to carry on alone
still never forget those early years back in the late eighties standing on a milk crate in the popside then the ritual of waiting no matter the weather for the green paper
    happy days

We including yourself Mel are fans of this famous old club
Recently we seem to be in the news for negative reasons and from a fans point of view prospects of having a fair chance of being competitive appear low
is there something that you could say to fans that would stop the anxiety and sleepless nights that I’m sure many of us are experiencing
