Their 1st? Might have been just offside but too close to call and the ref's assistant got it right in giving the benefit of any doubt to the attacking side. Handball for the 2nd by Raggett, definitely, although Collo's half hearted "challenge" didn't help. The ref taking account of the slippery pitch saved JW early doors and their player (Saydee?) when he took Sibs out 5 hours late. Their player was looking for the penalty, imo, he appeared to be going down of his own volition as soon as he felt contact. The ref didn't buy it. I have to admit I thought it was one and then, from the front on replay understood why it wasn't given. Another day, another ref and it, and the 2 red cards, would have been given. Swings and roundabouts. They had the lion's share of possession, we had more shots, same amount on target. The fox may have cost us a 3rd as we had numeric advantage and it was our speed merchants up there. Stopping play was the right decision imo. All in all, I view a draw as the right result.

Any Smiths fans in Derby ranks? I always find myself singing: 'He was a sweet and tender Hourihane.'
Hell NO @NickPFC , anything but a "music for the manically depressed" song from Morrisey, whatever minor it's been written in 😉

Although we didn't have Nyambe last season when playing a back four gave us a good run. IIRC we had Smith at right back during that period. It is quite possible that playing a back four bring us success because playing a back four is successful!
Be careful what you wish for Dave. Smith at RB would guarantee Hourihane a place in the "2" in front of the back 4.

@Blackpoolmad how was your experience?

When you rent something, a building, plot of land, shitheap, whatever, as long as it's not disallowed in the rental/lease agreement, any moneymaker you put on, the profits are renter/leaser, not those of the owner. That will apply to the shitty ground too.

Midweek, predicting a win in a treble for Posh, Trotters and Tykes worked as they all dropped points. At the weekend I predicted a win for all 3 again, this time adding wins for Lincoln and Oxford into the accumulator. All 5 won. Not the desired effect on the points front by my €5 delivered €94.50
Tonight, we'll be going for the win but I predict a repeat of the 1-1 draw at PP earlier this season.

10) If you're a Soton fan, Portsmouth 😉

@Comrade 86 The back 4 has proven good all season, when used, when Bradley's ban is over, IMO, he can expect to warm the bench again. JJ has been said to be a possibility before the end of the season.

Trotters can get 93 points IF they win all their remaining games. Posh and Tykes 92 max. Rams 96.
We are currently on 81. 3 more wins may well be sufficient.

Just have the crowd chanting the Darts music... duh duh duh duh duh... we're Derby

Well deserved 1st half lead. Cash and Nels both rocks. Ebou brilliant 1st half. CBT showed why we bought him in the opening 45 minutes. Both he and Ebou were a tad quieter in the 2nd half. Subs did their jobs well. The rest were all adequate or better.
Are we starting to learn the dark arts? JW down on one knee when we're under the cosh?
I will claim responsibility for the poor results of the chasing pack. 3 game accumulator on Trotters, Posh and Tykes to win. Best €5 I've ever lost 🙂

How many are Blackpool bringing?
Last I saw they'd sold 600 of their initial 1000 allocation. A few minutes ago we had 134 home tickets left.

Kirchner gets sentenced on, IIRC, July 11th, I wonder what he'll get? If he gets the maximum on all charges and serves those consecutively, rather than concurrently, he could get as much as 150 years.
I don't think he'll get anything like that, based on what the Bitcoin whizz kid got earlier this week. 25 years for embezzling Billions rather the around $25M which CK is being done for. 20 to 25 is my guess.

Yeah, but fits who?
Son?
Grandson??😉
I have two of the former, none of the latter. It would fit the elder son and be somewhat oversized on the younger one who is 6'7 and of slim build.
Still fits me too. I do carry a few extra pounds but not that much and, now it's cycling weather again, I'll be back doing 800 to 900 km a month on my 20 speed Guerciotti Alero racing bike. Drop the 6Kg too much and then put it back on in the winter 😉

I have both the long and short sleeved versions of that one. I have too many, I suppose but that didn't stop me getting the green one and the yellow keeper's shirt this season... back the club.

I went to Anoki last weekend and they're really pushing a limited menu for March which I didn't think was good value. I think the Viceroy is on a par with Anoki but I'd also mention Mount Everest on London Road for a good Nepalese and Gurkha beer.
The Pepperpot restaurant has just opened on London Road https://www.pepperpotderby.co.uk/
We were over for the Stevenage game, mid February. Ate in the Anoki. Pretty expensive but well worth it as the service and food was excellent.
