His average throughout the games he has played, has been better than both Russell and Hughes.Hughes had an distinctly average 2014 part of the season and started firing after, and Russell has not really made an impression this side of his injury. Absolutely vital for the first 2/3 of the season. Yes Hughes has played really well recently but Martin was consistently our most important player. Derby's tough guy up front, irreplaceable within the current players at the club.Cost a fortune on the open market to replace him..Hughes worthy also, but CM shades it for me.
