walkleyowl
Thanks for the decent allocation, first we've had in two years.
Ambitious
Will be a good first game - a very good atmosphere no doubt! Sheffield Wednesday have terrific away support and no doubt that had a factor on the allocation given.
SillyBilly
Good to see Wednesday back, would love this to be a prem fixture again. Amazing how we're now about a bottom 6 budget championship club playing a promoted L1 team, football certainly doesn't stand still.
MuespachRam
Gutted they got promoted ahead of the blades. Never liked them, hope we smash them all over the place on the opening day with 5300 pigs all with their shirts off, there to see it. Like a greasy chip butty.... networker1884
Oh I hope this isn't going to be a repeat of the Stoke atmosphere. Up the Rams
The Scarlet Pimpernel
Oh I hope this isn't going to be a repeat of the Stoke atmosphere. Up the Rams 28,000 of us 5,300 of them. The atmosphere should be what we choose to make it surely.

JoetheRam
I predict an amazing atmosphere. From them. We'll be quality from 2:50 until 3:02. Then we'll be silent unless things turn ugly on the pitch.
Duracell
I don't think I've ever seen a poor atmosphere against Wednesday. Just one of those clubs which seems to get our fans singing.
MuespachRam
Thankfully, one of those clubs that we always beat, home and away now. Still gutted it wasnt the decent half of sheffield that got up
Boycie
I prefer Wendy's to Blades, wendys seem to be more of a family club, the blunts seem to be chavs in shirts.
Alph
Gotta say I prefer Wendy's to Blunts too. Sorry Swissmeister. Wish we were all in the PL with Forest, Stoke, Brum clubs.... not Leeds though. Never Media United.
chezzyram
have to agree, Wendys for me every time, they are more like proper football fans.If you lived in the north of our wonderful county surrounded by blunts you would soon realise what a fickle, charmless bunch of mardarses they are
danthebeast
Agree with the last few poster's. Can't believe anyone would prefer Sheff Utd over Wednesday, Neil Warnock and Chris Morgan were all the reason's I needed to hate the Blades, whilst Wednesday have had quite a few ex Ram's over the last few year's. Bywaters there now and he was one of my favourite Derby player's of the post 2000's (not necessarily because of his goalkeeping abilities 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> )
Philmycock
Hillsborough is a proper ground, Sheff Weds is a proper club, like us, Sheff U are just wannabees, a bit like Florist, in fact all red teams suck and their white/blue rivals are all far cooler, a la Liverpool, Geordie, Glagow, Manc etc, even South Wales now they turned red! Neon
Honestly i dont have a problem with both clubs. i go to college in Sheffield and know both Wednesday fans and United Fans.. both of those guys are great people. i've been to see United 4 times and have never had a bad expirence.. should be a good game with us belting them.. Red teams tend to be more successful though, and marketable abroad. Also some studies have been doing that reveal that the colour is psychologically more imposing and intimidating to other teams. Shame it hasn't worked for our neighbours down the road though...
