Wednesday have the South West Corner as well as the usual away end. The letter I received today relocating me also says they plan to do the same in other games. The letter states they will get over 6,000 tickets in all.

Some of my family are blunts, some are owls, a few are Tykes and then there's me with all the bragging rights who supports a proper and much more superior team 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

was born and raised between Parsons Cross & the manor. Still have loads of family up on the manor who I choose not to see because they're erm, nutters.

The blades section comes from the manor. I don't need to say owt else now do I? 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

We have been **** for years, which you will know doesn't engender too much excitement. You are a bit giddy at the moment because you got a lucky promotion at the expense of your rivals (you know why you sneaked past them). A few defeats at the start and you will be down to earth again.

Having so many fans won't help you. It should raise our fans and when our fans are up for it even Man Utd don't enjoy playing at Pride Park. I'm confident we will start with 3 points.

I hope you have lost the lovely accent. I could do with an interpreter when I enter Yorkshire.

Most of it's gone, replaced it with a Barnsley twang 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> now there's a bit of Derby creeping in 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Haven't been to Hillsborough but the walls would have to be made out of poo for me to think Pride Park is better.

As one of the Wendys said, Pride Park is a stadium, Hillsborough is a ground. Im sure one day Pride Park will be more identifiable as our own home and will have some character, but we're half a century away from that.

maybe i can help with the translation , when we all go mental about 1529 on the 18th,it means maguire has just put us 2 up :-D

With Maguire's fitness level it would be a surprise if he made 29 minutes. You will be back to reality by September.

Not much of an occasion for us tbh. We are in a long term austerity situation, we have halved our wage bill over the last 3 years and have a new, young team that probably needs 2 or 3 half decent signings to give the fans hope and the team a reasonable shot at the top 6.

Its not likely that our board will fund this (or this is the perception from most fans anyway).

Where you, Leicester, Notts, etc have gone down and come back up (a promotion always gives fans a boost), we've had a few seasons of mediocrity so we are a tad short on optimisticism (!!??) atm.

Our asian owned local rivals also have trillions more to spend which adds to the feeling of Coventryness that hangs over us atm.

However, we turn up in our thousands hoping and praying for the feelgood factor, that moment when you realise we are on the way.......a situation which you wendys know only too well.

Oh, our "boys" btw, cannot give it large for 90 minutes as their mobility scooters need charging on the trek from town to the ground. Mention 50 shades of grey in Derby and you'd be arrested for trying to organise a DLF re-union!

Enjoy your day in Derby fella, if the season turns out well for us we'll do the same at yours... Hardly luck to amass 93 points, they were 5 points clear of us on February 25th with 2 games in hand, we clawed it back by working hard as a team and going unbeaten from that date.

Losing Evans was a blow but had he not had the case over him i suspect he'd have left in January anyway.

The problem, for me, with many new builds is the fact they look very similar and have very similar surroundings, the retail parks with yer Pizza Huts and Brewers Fayre 'pubs' none have that local feel to it, i love grounds like Goodison Park and Anfield cos they have that sort of feel to em, like you're in someones backyard.

With Anfield there probably is someone in someone else's backyard looking for some 5 finger discount items 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

But you get my point, I see football as losing it's identity with the new stadiums, give me Roker Park over the SOL any day, I'm only 31 and i've seen some great ground disappear for the modern flatpack

Totally right and the problem has been in this country the stadiums are so similar. Ours is a copy of Middlesbrough and that was a huge error. On the continent and Germany in particular have built some great stadiums.

I don't think there has been a quality new one built in England including Wembley. The main problem the stands are all too far from the pitch.
