ladyram
Went past Hillsborough today. It looks even more of a **** hole now than it did when I used to live near it. No offence to Wendy's on here, but my God, what a dive. The only area that looked anything like decent was the casino down the road. I prefer the Owls to the blunts any day of the week and look forward to nicking 6 points off you this season. Boycie
Erm, we just lost to Mansfield. Send Wendy the 3 points now, and save me the embarrassment.

Mr Tibbs
Looking forward to this. As said, the atmosphere against Wednesday is always decent. I think it's whenever a good following pitch up we seem to raise it.

Wednesday always bring a good following no matter how well they are doing. and we usually play well against wednesday. Whilst its not a forest or leeds, in terms of the fans being up for it from before kick off, i think the fact ourselevs and wednesday share so many of the same songs usually means theres a bit of a singing competition going on. North_Stand_Ram
We more then likely won't sell out, so giving them 5300 increases the chances of that really
jagerbob
Like the southampton game last season then. Let them have the entire south stand because we dont have enough fans at this time.
walkleyowl
Apparently we've had an extra 300 in a 'non alcohol' area of the ground, take it this means we've got the full 5,600...should make for a decent atmosphere.

Wednesday have one of the best away supports in the country for volume, variety of songs etc. They also if they ever put together a top team the potential to be a genuine big club, much more so than United who are very much the no2 club in Sheffield in terms of support. Owls away support has always been good, no doubts there - but the place needs a major overhaul. Not just the ground but the whole of Hillsborough. It's just a dive. I left Sheffield in 1979 and it was just the same then. Not even Bramhall Lane or Oakwell are as bad as that. And the Leppings Lane end has always been horrible. Still, it's got it's fair share of history, good and bad.
-JW-
It was the same last year with Birmingham wasn't it? They had all behind the goal, outsung us, but we beat them. Thats what'll happen on Aug 18th this year.

Some of the big estates are in awful decline. Bramhall Lane is actually a nice ground, nicely enclosed a lot better than any of the new builds.
