i84est
I just don't get it you can stand on moving bus trains but not in grounds because it suddenly becomes unsafe? Also don't get why we would have to change parts of stadium for (safe) standing as seats already fold up so the space is there to stand plus added bonus at half time to sit til second half
mozza
i used to love not being able to stand on the popside..sort of levitating..those who 'stood' in that 42,000 crowd against Spurs will know what i mean... curb
Yeah true pal... In other news I may well be off to Germany in June to feature in a Safe Standing promo for England. Really looking forward to seeing the full model, already seen the demo that could fit about 6 fans, but would love to see whole end safe standing. This is the future for the Stand Stand and should be seen as the long term in my opinion. That'll do for Wigan

ladyram
Heard that on RD this morn too Nick, so now they're considering it which is great news. If you look at the logistics side of things, these can be worked out easily enough - but I think the main sticking point will be the costs of alterations. Only time will tell I s'pose but well done Nick and everyone else who signed to get the fans heard.

Boycie
The sponsors give loads of free materials and labour to the club, I know this as a fact. They get corporate games packages back in return. There's a few builders who sponsor the club, I heard that the concrete plinth work for the Clough statue was all done foc from Evans concrete. That may not be totally true, but it wouldn't have cost full price for sure.
ladyram
Well that's good Boycie - lets hope that the builders and TG will scratch each others backs then and get this done.
Boycie
No doubt it will be " at great cost " if it finally gets done. We'll all have to thank the investors.
