Worst players

Nick Pickering......Awful

Mick Brolly......Awful, and particuarly ugly

John Harkes......100 % to blame for us not getting promoted, terrible.

Criag Burley....player of the year in Scotland, couldn't tackle a bowl of porridge for us.

Lars Bohenian.....everyone LOVES a good scape goat, the wimpiest tackler ever.

Darren Moore...Turning circle of an oil tanker

Roy Carroll...Forest Green Rovers....enough said.

Most over rated players

Dean Sturridge.....First touch of a semi collapsed dry stone wall

Malcom Christie...Better at stacking beans than scoring goals

Seth Johnson....Average player, completely average

Paul Kitson...if only he was as good as he thought he was, unfortunately he was as good as Gabbiadini thought he was

Marco Gabbiadini...needed another boot on his backside, he spent that much time rolling around on the floor.

Giles Barnes....where are you now?

Under rated players

Phil Gee.....So close to being the next Ian Rush.

Martin Kuhl....Nails

Chris Powell....STILL not replaced him

Stevie Mac....as the coach, again, still never replaced him

Nick Pickering!

Afternoon All, first time poster but long time viewer. Was a poster on the DET before it went down and it has taken me this long to make my way across. Hope everyone arrived safe and well looks as though most did.

Am not saying Nick Pickering was Diego Maradona but his winning goal against manure at old trafford in 1989/90 is surely enough to keep him out the worst ever player list?

My vote would be Eddie lewis in recent years but in reality there has been far too many to remember!

I think Sturridge was better than Gee. He looked a genuine Premier League centre forward. Gee never did.

muspech darren moore worst ever? he can't be for the fact he broke fagans shoulder :D :D he had a heart of a lion and him and leacock were solid at the back for our promotion. My list would be: Graham couldn't score for his life

carbone: useless

ravinelli: almost bankrupted us and useless

darren currie: actually did nothing

dean holdsworth: 41 need i say more

thirlwell: what can i say

and how many more.....

No one should say Claude Davis was the worst player ever, because he was brilliant entertainment value. Any player who's performance was described as "a comedy of errors" by a commentator is clearly so bad, you just have to laugh and enjoy the awfulness of his "performance".

Yep, moore was completely useless, so he was brave, so what, he couldnt play football. As for being solid, mama mia....he was the weak link in our team, and everyone knew it.

Ravanelli, great player, not his fault we were stupid enough to pay him a gazzillion pounds a minute.
