A couple of pages back you liked a post on Sibley being onside at Bristol without even seeing a replay never mind conclusive.

Hmm so because the lad made a movement with his arm trying to reach him at best grazing him with his fingernails and having zero effect on his balance he's not so innocent, but when Curtis at Wednesday actively put hands on both striker's arms not only didn't have it coming but it was the great injustice and the player & ref heard god knows what.

At least after Tuesday we know certain posters will never again call a player a dirty cheat for going down once there is contact, or even the slightest suspicion of contact (or perhaps without one as why would they be naive); OR ever grumble about decisions when the opposition are the better side (or every time we: set up to defend and spoil a game say next year; commit many fouls; complain to ref for giving many fouls; timewaste; or have keeper come off his line foul or not).

You do realise it’s the duty of a supporter to be partisan 😉

"Liking" a post does not necessarily infer complete agreement with its contents

Didn't read the rest of the post, did you?!

Are you having a tipple or two before the match, Ammy?

We did. Never visit this page when away from home, only ever access it form my laptop, so only just read your post Dave. We were in the Neppy and did the Neppy bus return journey. Toyota Lounge and Director's Box for Bolton. Back on the 27th for Carlisle. That'll be Neppy again and the Neppy bus (leaves half an hour before kick off). See you there?

Back home after 6 days on the Pedi, so here's my befuddled recollection of proceedings.

Not the most entertaining of games but one we deserved to win. Cracking opener from Gayle, very good first touch and gave the keeper no chance with the shot. Good headed equaliser from them but, had the cross not deflected off Sibs' leg chances are they wouldn't have scored as the ball looped straight onto their player's head, without the deflection who knows where it would have gone? Sibs did right to make a block.

That first half yellow was correct for the tackle on Gayle, IMO, however there's many a ref who'd have given a red. 2nd half I thought Yiadom was unlucky to get a 2nd yellow and should have stayed on. Hourihane might have got a yellow in that incident for simulation. From my position on the halfway line, the penalty looked exactly that, a penalty. No doubt the keeper fouled him but some with a better view think Gayle handled the ball. I've not seen that but it seems we may have been lucky with that decision.
