It always worries me when the ref gives out lots of yellow cards that he will suddenly decide to impose his authority on the game and give a red for a silly foul.

Great run from Nyambe, great cross from Wilson, NML and Barkhuizen both want it and by the time they sort it out Barkhuizen shoots wide under pressure 😩

Barkhuizen does a really good job of getting himself into dangerous positions, but he lacks that calmness in front of net.

He had a spell last season where he actually looked like a decent goalscorer he was calm and ruthless in front of goal.

As you say his positioning is good, but he seems low on confidence with his shooting

He strikes me as being desperate for a goal, I know he scored the other week but it’s like he wants to show his worth and as such keeps snatching at chances and/or not seeing the better option to his right
