MaltRam
28 years since Newcastle signed Alan Shearer for £15m. Will Osula. £15m. I like the lad. He's quick and strong. But sacred heart of Jesus...the world is flat on it's arse. Premier ram

If they do as you suggest, instead of spreading the cost over a 4 or 5 year contract, the loss is crystalised in the year of sale and that's bad for FFP calculations. Poynton ram
Signing for Newcastle in a deal worth up to £15m , wow…… Presumably some massaging of the price for FFP?

If we compare £15 million Will Osula to the strikers currently on Morecombes books, we can see that Will Osula is probably worth about 120k. Gabby'sThighs
I'm still flabbergasted by this. He looked like he had potential but didn't really make a mark when on loan. So many deals in the Prem just seem like they're some kind of fake FFFP dodge. Sheffield United are a bit of an unknown quantity this year - they've had such a massive personnel change. Harrison Burrows and Callum O'Hare look like good business though. They've got decent fees and must have massively reduced their wage bill. Gritstone Ram
I’d be gutted if we paid £1m for him.

Or you could pay "Spurs close on £60m deal for Bournemouth's Solanke" "The 26-year-old's release clause of about £65m was confirmed by Bournemouth owner Bill Foley in an interview with BBC Sport last month." Ram@Lincoln
And people wonder why we're struggling to compete with the transfer fees and wages offered. It's insane.
